Sterile pyuria: consider chlamydial infection.We report the cases of two men referred to a genitourinary medicine clinic with sterile pyuria and subsequently found to have their urethras infected with chlamydia trachomatis. Chlamydial infection should be considered in the differential diagnosis of sterile pyuria, particularly in young, sexually active males.
