Is it possible to have the pain of Shingles without any skin eruption?

I have been stressed out lately and have suffered sudden flashes of painful "pins & needles" similar to the discomfort I had a few years ago when I had a line of sores on my thigh that were diagnosed as Shingles and cleared up with Betnovate. Now I have no skin sores only an occasional tingling, moving "electrical" stimulus, which is short-lived but painful.
If the symptom is in the same area as the shingles it would tend to indicate that the original infection may have damaged the nerve root, which I am afraid does happen sometimes. If there are no lesions it is unlikely to represent a recurrence.  (+ info)

I get this itchy feeling the area is red and a small round circle that the skin tears from and it bleeds. Its just itchy and I have it on my arms and a few on my legs. Could it be from putting new sheets on my bed that I didnt wash the sizing out?
It isnt ringworm its smooth and its a small spot that the top tears off when I scratch it. I feel itchy inside me if that makes sense. It could be to the sheets or my asthmas meds

hmmmm....normally, , when primary teeth fall off, it only takes 3-4 weeks for new teeth eruption... 6 month without sign of newlyteeth is kinda suspicious

Why does the eruption of the first molar (in a 7 yr old) cause swelling under the chin?

My 7 year old is getting his first molar. He is experiencing a large swelling under his chin (directly under the tooth). It is painfull for him.
Unless its getting abcested (check the gums around the tooth for any puss or if the area around his tooth is extremely red)then its probally fine, sometimes when a tooth is having a difficult time coming through it can cause some swelling around the jaw or chin and can be pretty painfull. I would give him some tylenol for the pain as needed.  (+ info)

The spots are called milia (say "MIL-ee-uh"). Sometimes they also appear on the roof of the mouth (palate), where they are called Epstein pearls. Milia go away by themselves in a few weeks and aren't harmful.
My daughter had them as well when she was born however I do not remember them removing themselves after a few days. I thought it was a few months, however, my daughter is 2 and a half now so I may not remember correctly. Hope this helps!

how can I get rid of my pimples?

I am 18 years old and had a lovely skin even a month back but there are sudden eruptions of pimples on my face. It looks like acne and I am not under any stress. How can I get rid of these pimples in 10 days? My skin is oily. Please suggest some home remedies.
How to cure zits:

(1) stay regular - if you are constipated it may also cause zit outbreaks - eat lots of fiber, raw fruit and vegetables

(2) don't pop your zits! I know it's tempting to remove that big, yellow zit, but in the end you will have scarring

(3) wash with a mild soap and DON'T scrub! You will only be irritating the already sensitive areas. Don't wash more than 3 times a day (really!).

(4) use natural products to clear your zits, e.g. fresh lemon, garlic and cucumber. Sure, they take longer to heal zits than the commercial counterparts but they are ALL natural.

(5) allow your skin to breathe during the day - don't cover up your zits with excessive make-up. This will only aggravate your zit problem further.

There are loads of treatments to cure zits, even laser treatment, but stick to the one you feel the most comfortable with.
