How do I dye my hair from dark blonde to light blonde with dark red streaks at home?

I have medium/strawberry blonde hair and I want to dye it a really light blonde with a lot of thin, dark red streaks in it. Do I bleach all my hair and then dye it a light blonde then put the red streaks in it? Or do I just dye my hair light blonde, since its blonde already, and put the red streaks in it? Also, how do I put the red streaks in it WITHOUT it running into the blonde?

Chances are that those streaks in your hair are just spots you didn't saturate very well with the color. Apply the same color to those streaks.  (+ info)

I go swmming alot, so I can I make pink streaks in my hair permanent streaks and not fade?
Put your hair back when you swim after you rub in a leave-in conditioner (keeps the color), use a color-protecting shampoo/conditioner/styling products, and when you wash your hair, try to keep the temp as low as possible, just like when your skin is in hot water your pores open, your hair is more likely to release color when it is in hot water.

I went to the salon about a month ago to get high lights in my hair. My stylist talked me into getting a few blue streaks in my hair. Well now im sick of it and dont want to spend the money to go back to the salon.Anyone know any home remedies?
you can try to get it to fade out. if she used semi-perminant it should come out, and if she used permanent, you'll either have to bleach or color over it. try first washing in hot water with volumizing shampoo. you can try crushing a vitamin c tablet into shampoo, but if the rest of your hair is color-treated, it will fade that too  (+ info)
