What causes the sneaker insoles to stick to my bare feet?

When I wear my sneakers, I mostly wear them without socks, since I hate wearing socks, and when I do wear them the insoles stick to my feet, especially the cloth insoles. They really stick to my feet. When I wear my New Balance sneakers, and I take them off my feet the insoles really stick to my feet, and the insoles sometimes come out of the sneaker. What casues the insoles to stick to my feet. THis happens to all the footwear I wear including my sandals, and my deck shoes; therefore what causes the stickiness?

How do you make food not stick to my oven tile/brick?

I was making cookies today, and was able to get them to not stick by putting a lot of flour on the tile. BUT, then the cookies came out with the flour stuck to them. So then I tried with a light (I stress light) amount of flour, and the cookies ended up sticking to the tile. What methods can I use to not let food stick to my oven tile/brick? Thanks, and I do check back to give the best answer the points they deserve.
**It is sticking directly to the tile itself. Like when I use the spatula to remove it...I can tell that the bottom of the cookie is stuck to the tile. With the flour, they came off very VERY easily...but left a floury resideu on the bottom of the cookies.

You are pre-heating those tile/bricks? Stick with what you know, pun intended, crushed nuts, dried bread crumbs, assuming that the recipe is in balance. Is this the first time that you've used these tiles?  (+ info)

How to stick a flower behind your ear?

I'm a dancer and I want my partner to stick a flower behind her ear. I need tips to I stick the flower there and reduce its chances of falling off during the routine. Not that it matters if it falls off, but I'd prefer it there as long as it can.

And I need to avoid the possibility of it falling off but it doesn't drop on to the ground, it just hangs on the hair, which would look funny.
Well, have her stick it behind her ear, use a little clip or bobby pin. Bobby pins are less noticeable so have her put the flower behind her ear and sort of attach it with the bobby pin clipping the stem and hair. Or have her stick the flower behind her ear, and tuck the stem into her hair.

How do you make chocolate stick to brittle?

I having been making a cashew brittle over the holidays and decided to add a chocolate base. I melted milk and dark chocolate together and spread it out on the flat side of the brittle after it had cooled. Once the chocolate hardened and I went to break up the brittle, some pieces of the chocolate stuck, and some didnt. I dont know what made it stick on some and not on other pieces, so im just wondering if there's anything that I need to do to make more of it stick, or if thats just how it is. I slowly micorwave melted the chocolate and I had it outside cooling (so it may have still been cool, but had been inside for a little while)

Also, what can you use in the chocolate, so that its doesnt melt so quickly when touched (similiar to candy bars and such), i've heard paraffin mentioned before.
Maybe oils in the brittle were preventing the chocolate from sticking, or you didn't let it cool enough. You can also try breaking the brittle first and dipping the bigger pieces in chocolate rather than extrta layer. If you want that extra layer, try pouring it on the rough side of the brittle, it may work better. Paraffin is an ingredient in chocolates, I've seen it in recipes before on candy making.  (+ info)

I am baking a sponge cake and I will be usign frosting to cover it. I also wanted to add some unique decorations and I was planning on using gum paste to make them. Will the decorations made of gum paste stick to the frosting or do I have to use some other method of decoration.
Yes, gumpaste decorations will work, but you may need to stick a little icing on them to hold them in place.

I am really picky about what goes on my lips, I think lip stick makes my lips feel weird and dry and lip gloss is too sticky. I am looking for a non sticky, not too glossy lip gloss. I like a little color but I also want it to moisturize. I usually wear chap stick because that is the only thing that feels comfortable. Anyone have suggestions?

I'm looking for a recipe for cookies on a stick. Anyone know if I can just use my sugar cookie recipe and use cookie cutters, and then stick a popsicle stick in it and bake? How about using chocolate chip cookie dough the same way with cookie cutters and a popsicle stick? I would like to hear from people who have done this before. How long should you keep a stick of deodorant?

How long should I keep a stick until it's unsanitary and just old? I bought a stick I think about a couple months ago and it still has the same smell but I threw it out even though it was half gone. It just seemed gross to me when I thought about how long I've had it.
