Can you get STDs and HIVs or any other sexual diseases from licking the breast?

I am just wondering if the person licks and sucks the girl's breast would he still get infected with sexual diseases? I heard you can if the girl has milk in her breast and you suck it, if it's true then I would think it's very unlikely. My question is what if the girl doesn't have milk in her breast, can you still get infected?
----------

IF SHE HAS AIDS OR HIV AND IS LACTATING THEN YES, THERE IS A POSSIBILITY BECAUSE BREASTMILK IS A BODILY FLUID! JUST LIKE A MOTHER WITH HIV OR AIDS CAN PASS THE VIRUS ON TO A NURSING BABY. IF IT IS ANY OTHER STD, THEN YOU MOST LIKELY WILL NOT CATCH ANY OF THE OTHER STUFF, ONLY THROUGH SEXUAL CONTACT.

What are some diseases you can get from chicken breast?

My friends and I made a dinner last night involving boiled chicken breast and we are all very sick today with vommiting and nausia. The chicken was new at the store and it was well cooked. Any ideas what it could be?
-----and that it must have been an abscess in the chicken....!!!! Ugh.. I hope you're feeling better soon! --------

Oh thats disgusting and doesn't make me feel better one bit. I bet it is samonela
----------

Probably Salmonella, and there are many strains. Onset can be anywhere from 6-24hours and can last 1-2 days. best advice is to keep hydrated, especially if you start to get diarrhoea. The chicken may have sat at the store for a while, with inadequate refrigeration, and if the bacteria count was high it makes it more difficult to kill (completely) by cooking. I think 176 F (water boils at 212F) for 10 minutes is standard.  (+ info)

How do you prevent breast cancer or other breast diseases from happening?

Pls. answer my question. because i have homework. I'll submit it in 2 days. PLEEEEAAAASE!!! it requires Paragraph.
----------

Nobody knows what causes breast cancer - cancer researchers don't, so nobody here will. So nobody knows how to prevent it.

It is a lot easier and less scary for people who haven't had cancer to 'blame the victim' by putting an individual's cancer down to lifestyle factors like diet than it is for them to accept that cancer is a largely random disease that can strike any of us at any time.

I once thought that my organic vegan diet would protect me against cancer. It didn't.

There ARE recognised risk factors for cancer, some preventable, some not. They're only rik factors though, and most women ticking one or all of the boxes don't get breast cancer and some women who have none of these risk factors do get breast cancer.

The risk factors are:

Genetic – but only 5-10% of breast cancers are genetic/hereditary

Getting older - the greatest risk factor; 80% of those diagnosed with breast cancer are over 50

Having children at an older age or not at all. The more children a woman has may also slightly lower her risk. Breast-feeding helps protect against the disease. The longer a woman breastfeeds her children, the more she lowers her risk.

Starting periods at a younger than average age (under 12) or having a late menopause (after 55)
.
Taking the contraceptive pill or hormone replacement therapy (HRT) causes a small increase in risk. However, the risk gradually returns to normal after you stop taking them.

Being overweight (especially after the menopause).

Regularly drinking more than 1 unit of alcohol per day slightly increases the risk of breast cancer.

Having a previous diagnosis of breast cancer increases the risk of developing a new cancer in the other breast.

As I said though, someone may tick all of these boxes, and never get cancer.  (+ info)

Can diseases be passed through breast milk?

My city open a breast milk bank yesterday and hundreds of women donated on day 1. it is a government and private hospital joint effort. The milk is processed and frozen for up to 6 months. the milk is for newborns and premature births who need milk but the mom is having problems providing milk. Can HIV or Hep A or B or some other nasty be transmitted to the newborn when mistakes happen in screening?
----------

babies who get breastmilk from milk banks are usually in dire situations... they are preemies who can't digest formula. they are babies with severe allergies. they are babies who have underdeveloped immune systems and need the antibodies. there isn't enough banked milk to go around for the normal healthy babies to have it. you need a prescription to get banked milk for your baby. in those cases, the benefits of breastmilk are way more important than any possible risks from an unlikely screening accident. it's the same way with a blood transfusion... it's possible for something to have gone wrong with the screening, but you only use it if you really need it so you accept the risk.  (+ info)

If you had lung or breast cancer that spread to your eyes would you have any symptoms of these diseases or?

could the vision problem be a sign it spread? Thank for your help!
----------

Mets to the eyes are exceedingly rare and very unlikely with either breast or lung cancer. For the sake of argument if this were to occur you would most likely have symptoms before the cancer spread to the eyes. Especially if you had annual mammograms.  (+ info)

Can breast milk pass diseases? I was intimate with a pregnant woman I'm dating.?

Dating a pregnant woman and accidentally drank a bit when being intimate with her. Can it pass diseases or anything I don't want?

thanks
----------

It is a body fluid, so if she had any diseases, then yes, she can pass it to you through her breast milk. Anything the mother is affected with or exposed to can be passed on through her breast milk, that is why there are so many warning labels that have to do with pregnant and breast feeding mothers.  (+ info)
