Hi,I have had symptoms of chronic bronchitis for 6 mnths, which appears as an infection. Is it an allergy?

Symptoms are yellow phlegm, coughing, respiratory problems and hoarseness. One doctor says asthma; another virus; another cat allergy. Antibiotics (3 courses) have achieved no change. No sure what to do next. Anyone has any ideas?
----------

I have some ideas.
Maybe I should email them to you.

Go to curezone.org and search for "bronchitis iodoral" or "bronchitis iodine" See what it says about an inorganic form of iodine that is safe (hikers use it to purify water when in the wilderness) and about high doses of vitamin C. Also since I started taking an indium sulfate supplement (Indium APW 1 oz with an atomizer) and trace elements I have NOT had bronchitis in a year and I always got it at least once or twice a year and whenever I got a cold it would go into bronchitis but last November I got a cold and it did not develop into bronchitis. so I must be doing something right!

I have chronic bronchitis and I work in the food industry...should I call in sick? I start meds today...?

I don't want to make anyone else sick, but I also need money. However, I'd rather have 0 money than make others sick...so what should I do?
----------

take a few days off of work until your coughing is nonexistant. Then go back to work and keep taking your meds if you still have some till it is all.

i would rather have someone call in instead of seeing an employee cough in my food.  (+ info)

Chronic Bronchitis affect Stamina?

I had chronic bronchitis about 2 years ago, i was wondering if it can affect your stamina, i was doing a run in P.E and i got a bad score, i was wondering if it has any long term affects on the body.
----------

I'm not seeing anything about long term effects of Chronic Bronchitis. You may want to use a humidifier to keep the air moist while you're sleeping to help keep airways open though. Did you feel short of breath when you did your run in P.E.? If so, it may indicate asthma, which would definitely affect your stamina. If you did experience shortness of breath, you should be checked by your doctor for asthma or other long-term respiratory conditions.   (+ info)
