How can I lose fat from my upper legs?

I have recently lost loads of weight from my stomache, and I'm continuing to do so, and it's working well.

But my upper legs have got a lot more fat on, and they're pretty much disproportioned from the rest of my body.

What kind of exercises can I do to burn fat specifically from my upper legs?

Thanks, guys! :)

Run, or if you dont like running like most people, walk! It's great fun, and doing it with a friend or a pet will be even more enjoyable!  (+ info)

How Do I Get A Bigger Torso?

Hey I've been on a workout routine for well over a year now and the results are awesome. Thing is my shoulders, arms and chest are big, my legs are big but my midsection is still small.

I do crunches and have strong abs but my waist and midsection is disproportioned to my upper body. Need that filled out look.

Any exercises for this?

Would you rather have a hideous face but a hot body or have a hideous body but a perfect face.?

And when I say hideous face wise, you can't do surgery to change it. And as for body wise, you're fat, disproportioned and you can't diet or exercise or do surgery to change it.

hideous body but a perfect face. you can always find good clothes to hide the fact that your body sucks but with your face ... make up can only do so much.  (+ info)

how can I be overweight for my height but seem lighter and slimmer from those of the same weight?

im 22 yrs. old, weigh 188 lbs. and stand at 5'7". im a 34-35 waist and i still can fit into medium sized clothing. some are large depending on the cut. my buttocks and hips are disproportioned from the rest of my body. when i was 172 lbs. 2 years ago, i wuz still about the same. everytime i lose weight, my body shape is still the same, just a bit slimmer. what can I do to be more comfortable about myself? is it possible i'm just born big-boned?
----------

You know what your BMI sez so I won't get into that.

I'm taller than you, smaller waist and weigh less - I'm borderline overweight so don't get me started.

Doctors are considering a BFI (yep "F") Body Fat Index. Which allows for those of us with more muscle mass to "pass".

Get a sense of where that number is and you should be good especially if you are unusually lean. If not you've got work to do.  (+ info)

Recovering anorexic -- Will my arms get bigger or just my belly?

Do I have to strength train to get girth back in my arms? They're like little toothpicks! I've been gaining weight, but it all seems to go to my belly! Am I doomed to disproportion or what?
----------

Strength training will help a lot, you need to rebuild the muscles you wasted- get advice from a pro though- don't just go it alone!

If you had a cesarean, how long was your hospital stay?

I am doing research on Cesarean Section, and just wanted to see what "real" women have experienced...vesus what I can/have read in books. Thanks.

1. What was the reason for your cesarean, FTP (failure to progress), CPD cephalopelvic disproportion, Breech, Transverse lie, Fetal distress, etc...??? (If you are not sure you should ask your doctor for a copy of your operative report.)

2. How long were you in the hospital after the surgery?

3. What was your experience with breastfeeding after your cesarean?

4. Did you suffer from PPD (post partum depression) or PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) afterward, if so for how long?

5. Your overall, feelings & opinions about your surgery?

6. If you are planning on having more children would you consider VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean)? Why or why not?

Thank you, I appriciate all you answers (in advance) and look forward to reading them all.

1.- Both times FTP, but the second time my baby was coming forehead first also.

2. The first time I was there from early Wednesday morning until Sunday evening. The second time I was there from Wednesday morning until Saturday afternoon.

3. My first baby never latched on correctly. I breastfed her as much as I could but I had to supplement, and this was from the first try. My second baby latched on like an expert the first time, I haven't had any trouble with her.

4. I did not suffer from PPD or PTSD, for some reason I think I am stronger minded than that. I know why things happen and I can control myself in any situation... mind over matter.

5. I hated the fact that both times I tried to have my babies natural I ended up in the hospital. I hate the fact that I had to have major surgery twice in my life already... but I love that my babies are here with me, safe and healthy... and I'd rather have that and a cut than no cut and no babies :o)

6. I am planning on having more babies and I am definitely considering VBA2C probably at home too. I want to have a normal delivery because that is what is natural and I will go natural every time unless there are complications.  (+ info)
