hypospadias occurs in about 1/200 male births. about 5% of people with hypospadias also have crypto orchidism.

sometimes this is just bad luck, sometimes it's due to a medical problem like congenital adrenal hyperplasia or other diseases that cause hermaphrodites.  (+ info)

My fiance was born with Cryptorchidism (one testicle didnt descend, and was surgically corrected at 2 years of age) , he hasn't gotten tested but from my research it looks as if he will have problems with his fertility etc. We can't afford to try for a baby atm however. If he has an already low percentage atm, will that decline over 5-7 years?
Sperm count/fertility does go down as the years go by. But you don't really have to worry about anything until he's close to 50. I'm guessing he's closer to 20 or 30, so don't worry about it at this point.  (+ info)

OK, first calm down. Cryptorchidism occurs from an undescended testicle. This testicle remains in the abdominal cavity (this is where they develop when you are in your mothers womb). Testicles usually descend into the scrotum before birth or soon thereafter.

I really suggest that you speak to your Urologist about your concerns. I'm not going to go into details online, for a few reasons.
