What could i do for a swollen uper eyelid?

I woke up today with a swollen upper eyelid. Im guessing that something bit me because i hadnt eaten anything that night.

My eye isn't red or anything like that. Its just my upper eyelid thats swollen.
----------

I know this might sound silly but trust me it works!
Get a steel spoon. Run the underside of it under icy cold tap water for about 2 minutes. Then place the flat underside of the spoon over your closed eye for at least 5minutes and repeat if desired. This should help bring the swelling down. If not you might need an antihistemene due to an allergic reaction from the bite.  (+ info)

What can I use instead of a foundation and eyelid primer?

1)I want to use a foundation primer, but I do not want to go spend money on one so I'm wondering if there is anything I can use that I already have that would work as a primer?

2) My eyelids crease bad--the eyeshadow always gets creased in them in like a couple hours after I put it on. Same as #1, what can I use as an eyelid primer?
----------

The eyeshadow that you are using may be the problem with it creasing in your eyelid. I recommend using an eyeshadow that will stay on for a long period of time. I use Revlon Color Stay Eyeshadow Quad. It stays on all day. I have oily eyelids and that is the only eyeshadow that will stay on all day on me. As for the primer I would just use your own foundation over your eyelids to prime and then dust with your face powder before putting on the eyeshadow. That always does the trick for me.  (+ info)

How to make excess eyelid and discoloured bags less noticeable?

my eyes look kind of like this
http://indianbeautytips.net/images/eye4.jpg

when there fully opened, you could still see my eyelids. Therefore it looks like i'm tired all the time. Also i have discoloured bags under my eyes. Both are hereditary.
One eye, the eyelid is more excess than the other, making that eye look more tired and the other eye look more opened and smiley.
What makeup tips to make that less noticeable?
----------

Use a product called 'erase paste' by benifit... it is made for the problem you are describing. I use to always have dark bags under my eye, but now that i use the erase paste they are gone and i ofter get compliments on how "bright" my eyes look. They carry it at macys, benifit stores, sephora... and im sure alot more places.  (+ info)

how to treat a scar on my eyelid after a chalazion surgery?

Three weeks ago I had a chalazion removal surgery from my right eyelid. Unfortunately, the doctor did an external cut, leaving a very visible scar. It looks red and very unhealthy. If it doesn't go away, what kind of cosmetic treatment should I go for in order to diminish the scar? Laser? Creams?

I am planing to visit a dermatologist but I thought it was a good idea to ask the forum. Thank you very much.

It’s best you continue seeing your doctor to understand your healing process and how to address the problems which concern you.  (+ info)

What could be the cause of my sore eyelid?

For the past couple of days half of left eyelid has been really sore, and the underneath my eye there is also sore. Sounds a bit random, but does anyone know what could be the cause of this or had it themself?
----------

I believe you just have "dry-eyes" you never said that they had a bump on them which would be a sty so I wanted to tell you about how to deal with Dry Eyes.

The use of Boric-acid in warm water using a eye dropper to apply two - three drops into the eye. Boric Acid will cleanse dry-eye, infection of the eye and inflammation.

Or you go to the store and buy a eye wash product.

Bausch & Lomb has a good eye wash product called "Soothing Eye Wash" with a sterile eye cup enclosed, it's for daily or emergency eye cleansing.

One of the reasons my eyes gets sore is that I sit in a room on the computer with a ceiling fan blowing air down on me, which causes my eyes to dry out and become sore.

How do you stop an annoying involuntary muscle twitch in your eyelid?

My left eyelid has been constantly twitching for the last 4 hours. Its getting really annoying because it feels weird and its actually distracting me from studying.

Ive tried rubbing, stretching, and massaging my eyelid. I also had a headache earlier which I took advil for and now its gone, idk if thats relevent.
----------

That is a good question, 1 that deserves an honest serious answer.
I have had that when I have been under alo of stress. the only cure I think for that is to remove the stress. Found tennis to be awesome for that.
You may also want to try *various remedies* of which you know I am speaking.

However, if you remove the stress I am sure it will go away. I do not think it has to do with staring at the computer.  (+ info)
