How to get rid of dry skin on my eyelid?

I have a small patch of dry skin on my eyelid. I am using the same eye makeup that I have used for a long time and the same facial cleanser. Neither of the two have ever irritated my skin. The dry patch itches and is sensitive. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it?
----------

I have the same thing too. It really sucks for me, so at night, I put a thin layer of vaseline before I go to bed. Just don't apply before you put on your makeup. The vaseline makes eyeshadow cling. Very embarassing.  (+ info)

How am I supposed to put eyeliner on my top eyelid?

I can do it with the bottom eyelid, but when I do it with the top there's always a big gap where my eyelashes are and it looks stupid. I can't seem to do it when everyone else I know can.

Can anyone help give me some help on how to do it? I use liquid and pencil, by the way.

What is the best way to treat dermatitis on the eyelid?

i'm afraid to use cortisone cream because i heard if it gets in your eye you could lose eyesight.
is that true?
what is the best way to treat it on the eyelid?
----------

I have battled this for years and I found cortisone does very little. Here is what works for me:

1) use ice pack or a cold eyemask as they restrict circulations hence the itching and swelling. I use Guinot Eye Mask which has horse chestnut. I leave it in the frdige, apply and then wash my face with cold water. This by far, and to my utter surprise, is the best thing I have used.
2) avoid eyeshadows at any cost
3) the problem could also be inside your eyes, eg dry eyes specially if you use contact lenses, so I suggest you get some preservative free eye drops, avoid air heaters, air conditioners or just get a humidifier. Drink plenty of water.

DO NOT RUB your eyes. I know this one is hard but you must stop.  (+ info)

How can I get rid of a single wrinkle on my eyelid?

The wrinkle is right next to my eyelash line on my eyelid. Maybe it's not a wrinkle but it's a line of skin that pops out. Like opposite of a crease or something like that.

My eyelids are quite skin-abundant and I'm wondering if I were to use the double eyelid tape or glue would it change how the eyelid crease looks?

No stupid answers like 'be happy with who you are' please.
----------

You can use it. But they don't work well normally.

I found this answer in another Yahoo Questions / Answers.

face your dilemma too since I don't have a crease. I think many asian girls try to apply eyeshadow to their eyes and it ends up looking like splotches of paint (similar to your situation). For the moment, try eyeliner. They come in so many shades and will excentuate your eyes. Look to try eyeshadow pencils. Jane (a brand found in many rite aids) makes one that come in many different colors and you just draw a line along your upper lash lines. It comes out looking like eyeshadow on me because the line is quite thick, but it isn't a bit blotch, so its quite nice. Mascara also does wonders on opening up your eyes. Use a eyelash curler (I like la cross) followed by a waterproof mascara (I like covergirl lash exact waterproof formula) to hold the curl in place. Also, buy some neutral shades from the drugstore and experiment with application. After awhile, you'll find something that works for you.

http://www.makeupalley.com/ you can find reviews on products here, and the people on the community are so helpful =] ask someone on the boards for a tutorial on doing eyeshadow for asians with single lids, I'm sure there is one but I can't recall the url
hope this helps! =]  (+ info)

How do you get an eyelash out stuck in the lower eyelid outer corner of the eye?

It's pretty deep actually; about half way between the bone and the top of the eyelid. It's not causing pain, just irritation whenever I move my eye from left to right. It's been stuck for about two days now. I've tried flushing it with water, but that didn't work.
----------

its likely not an "eyelash" in there. it just feels that way - "foreign body sensation". do you SEE an eyelash up there when someone looks? doubtful. most likely it just feels like something is there. if you flushed & it still feels that way its likely an inflammatory condition. stop "trying to remove" it, stop rubbing. maybe see an optometrist  (+ info)

If I use eyelid glue for long enough will my eyelid stay that way?

One of my eyes lost its double fold a while ago because I sleep on my side. If I use eyelid glue for, say a week, will the lid stay folded without the glue?
EXCUSE ME if you actually read the description, I WAS born with it, but later lost the fold because I sleep on my side so one eye is always pressed against the bed.
----------

no. if you are born without it, u have 2 use the glue, or get surgery.  (+ info)
