How can a woman find tattoos attractive on their bodies?

I mean, bodies sag as people age and that lovely little rose will begin to look like an aborted fetus. Am I wrong? I think these little embellishments are hideous links to a tribal past.

YUCK!
----------

Tattoos and piercings seem very tribal. Some tattoos I've seen were really crappy.  (+ info)

How do our bodies know to kept breathing after we our asleep?

I know that our bodies need to breath to keep living. I just want to know how our bosies know how to keep breathing after our minds are asleep.
Sorry. I ment, "How do out bodies know to keep breathing after we are asleep?"
Sorry for the bad spelling.
----------

We have automatic responses in our brains that we cannot control. One of them is breathing. The body will do whatever it takes to continue living. The breathing center is in the base of our brain and it tells our lungs to continually inflate and deflate. Even if you hold your breath until you pass out, you will continue to breathe. It is part of the autonomic nervous system.  (+ info)

What happens to the body parts Drs ampertate off our bodies?

What happens to the body parts and were do they go after Dr's ampertate them from our bodies, including our inside body parts?
----------

They are disposed of in a biohazardous waste recepticle. They are identified by the universal "biohazard symbol" in black on a red background. The whole receptilce is usually red. All infectous waste is disposed of in this manner to prevent contamination. The biohazardous waste is transported to a facility where it is incinerated. The high-tech incinerators used produce little or no air pollution. The service for biohazardous waste disposal is expensive due to the clean-burning technolgy used.  (+ info)

Is studying abroad as a foreign exchange student worth it?

Ok, so there is this foreign exchange student at my school from Spain, and after talking to him, I kind of want to become an exchange student. So, how do you become one? Is it fun and worth it? Why should I become an exchange student? Do you get to pick where you want to go? How do I ask my parents if I can get into the programs?
----------

I enjoyed studying abroad more as a college student. If you think about it, you can do SO much more when you're over 18 and it will give you time to study the language of the country in the semesters before you leave to visit (if necessary, if you go to England or Australia you wouldn't need to). Plus, it counts as credits towards your graduation at your 2-year or 4-year school. Living and studying in another country immerses you in what it's like to live like a local, it's such a different experience than just going on vacation as a tourist. It will help you grow more mature and well-rounded, I highly recommend it!  (+ info)

I'll be going to a foreign country this summer. Is there like a specific device I can buy to filter the water? I'd also like this device to get past airport security, I wouldn't want it to be confiscated.

I have a cold in a foreign country, what can I do to get better?

I am in a foreign country in Europe. I am here on business and I am stuck in my hotel room and I can't read anything at their pharmacy. I think I have a fever, I am severely congested and it is actually hard to breathe, home remedies,...anything. Please help!
----------

Ask for help at reception. Surely there is someone working there who can interpret.
They should also know the name and contact number for an English speaking doctor.
If you have access to the internet (which you appear to do), there is help with translation online.
The world is wide open!

Never mind Frank, ask Google or Jeeves!!  (+ info)

Can you teach young children a foreign language by exposing them to it in books and movies?

I was wondering if reading your children books in a foreign language and letting them watch movies in that languages, from a young age will help them learn the language?

Will they be able to pick up the meanings? Or would it be a waste of time?
I do know the basics of the language. I am not fluent. I can understand it well enough.
----------

You have to speak it to them all the time, along with English. I am concurrently teaching my daughter English, Chinese Mandarin, and Spanish (I am fluent in all 3 - although my Chinese is faltering a bit, LOL) I joke with people that she will have no friends in Pre K and Kindergarten becasue they won't be able to understand anything she's saying, LOL! It's tough and it takes a lot of work and dedication but it is possible.  (+ info)

What do you think of a foreign national who was visiting the US for a few months on a tourist visa?

What do you think of a foreign national who was visiting the US for a few months on a tourist visa? He got ten American women pregnant. He went back to his native country before they are born. He never had legal US residency and he is legally not required to pay child support.
