My mother has a Linear Iga diseas for around 3 years. Kindly tell me about the causes of Linear Iga and the treatment of this wierd disease. We have tried many medications for her but it works temporary and the disease comes back again and again.

My doctor wants me to take one he says it's a blood test that compares my immune system to around 200 foods. It looks for abnormal Immunoglobulin G reactions that indicate a possible food sensitivities. It would tell me the foods I would need to stop eating to control my acne.
Yep, I've heard of it. Most people have it done to check for food allergies and sensitivities. You have a good doctor. Most wouldn't check for food allergies as the culprit. Hope you find an answer to your acne problems.  (+ info)

IgA, IgE, and IgG are all antibodies. A lack of IgA in the blood could indicate a disease like Selective IgA Deficiency. I don't know as much about IgE and IgG. Sorry I couldn't be more help.  (+ info)
