What is with my mom? She is heavy chain-smoker,smoking 3 packs a day and cigars daily saying that she like it?

My mom is 50 years old heavy chain-smoking woman for years. She is on her 3 packs a day habit with no intense to quit or cut it down. She is smoking for about 25 years, and she is always with a ciggie in her mouth smoking like a chimney and every day she smokes more and more. She also likes to smoke two cigs at once saying that she really needs to smoke more to feel good. In a recent years she started to smoke cigars on a daily purpose, she is really deeply inhaling them and says that she likes big smoke that fills her inside. She has a female friends about her age, who also smokes a lot and when they come to our house it is smoke everywhere i'm almost out of breath.
And my mom changed a lot. She looks older than she is, she got wrinkles on her face too early, she has a yellow tar stained teeth and very bad breath, she is always coughing a lot and constantly out of breath, sometimes i noticed that she is feeling dizzy, but she says she is ok and that she needs to smoke. Is it problem?

Probably not much you can do for her...for yourself get an air cleaner..maybe you can put it in your bedroom so you have clean air.  (+ info)

Where can I find a chain that can hold up a heavy piece of rock type thing?

I have this umm... kinda heavy rock but it's really pretty.

And, I'm looking for a chain or something so that I can make it into a necklace.

Problem is, I need a chain that would be able to hold up something heavy like that....

Where can I find one? It has to be thin too.
xD

thanks!

Articles about Parkinson's Disease caused by heavy metals?

My husband has Parkinson's Disease. He works with Lead. Both Parkinson's and Lead Poisoning have similar symptoms so we are looking for any articles that associate them together or specifically say what heavy metals actually can cause Parkinson's Disease.
Are there any MD's that want to give their opinions about this, it would be appreciated.

I have Parkinson's Disease and grew up on a farm. I am 55 and believe mine might be chemical poisoning. Here are some articles on PD and Lead:

I hope some of these articles help. There is a lot of research being done on the cause and cures of the disease so try to stay positive and attend any support groups they have PD and their caregivers.  (+ info)

What type of chain/necklace goes with a heavy pendant?

bought a Pendant for my wife for her birthday it is bigger and heavier than I expected (got it through the internet) It's a nice pendant but now I need a strong matching chain in either white gold or silver. Should I get curb, wheat, rope, snake or some other kind of chain?
----------

A thin wheat chain and I suggest in silver. White gold is really just yellow gold with a coat of rhodium so don't waste your time or money because it would be hell getting a chain retouched when it starts to fade to yellow. If the pendant is large and heavy you will want a thin strong chain without much going on to compliment it. Don't match pendant and chain, always compliment or it looks overstated or understated. Wheat is classic and you can never go wrong. Snake and rope are way too gaudy and curb is much too street to use with a nice pendant. Hope this helps and thumbs up! nice job picking out the gift you seem like a thoughtful person =)  (+ info)

Do someone have a heavy chain-smoking mom like me?

So i just want to know does someone also have a mother who is heavy chain-smoker like mine?

I know someone like this. Talk to your mom about how you feel about her health... and YOUR health. Second hand smoke can hurt you too.  (+ info)

I went to a dentist (kind of a chain business)-within about a minute he said I have gum disease ?

Right away he wanted to set me up for an appointment and meet with somoene in finance-I'm skeptical-he said I have no cavaties but have advanced gum disease-can he make a diagnosis in 30 seconds?
----------

If he consulted radiographs, he could make a diagnosis in about 5 seconds. To be more accurate though he should measure the pocketing around each tooth. This is a serious condition and should be treated. Good Luck  (+ info)

what happens if a heavy chain smoker stop smoking with immediate affect and instantly ?

A chain smoker will experience serious side effects when they stop immediately: sharp decrease in blood pressure, dizziness, fainting and changes in heart rate and rhythm can be expected.
It's best that someone who's smoked alot and/or for a long period of time wean themselves off their cigarettes slowly. This will allow the body to slowly accommodate for the changes that the absence of/decrease in nicotine will cause.
It's best that such a drastic change in the daily activities of the patient be addressed by a physician. Such changes may require additional medication or care.  (+ info)

where can I get a big thick heavy gold chain at a good price?

You could try some pawn shops. They usually do quality stuff a little bit cheaper than most jewellers.  (+ info)
