The hemic system is the blood-containing vessels (particularly arteries, capillaries, veins). The lymphatic system drains interstitial fluid (from the tissues). This is called lymph. It then drains all of this fluid back into the hemic system, (via the lymphatic duct, which drains into the left subclavian vein)  (+ info)

Is the production of mucus part of the lymphatic system or the respiratory?

I am typing a paper that has a main focus on the body's natural reaction to bacteria or a virius. What I can't remember is rather or not the production of mucus as a way to rid the body of bacteria would be apart of the lymphatic system, since the lymphatic system does infact deal with mainly all other matter of desposing of bacterium.

What can happen to your lymphatic system system from laser tattoo removal? ?

I am wondering if it can cause cancer or anything else? Is it bad to get more than one tattoo removed at a time and how long will your body take to flush it out of your lymphatic system, and will one feel sick or weak in between tattoo removal sessions as their body is working super hard to heal? Also how long should people really wait in-between removal sessions? weeks or months?

See if this link might help to answer your question.

There are also other concerns linked to the liver and other organs in your body. My suggestion would be to not remove the tattoos.  (+ info)
