What type of fabric do you make cloth diapers out of?

I have some gerber pre-folds and want some better diapers, but don't have the money to buy them. I do, however, have a sewing machine and a serger. What type of fabric is good for making cloth diapers???? Does any one know where to get a pattern for a contoured type diaper?
I forgot to add that I have diaper covers. I just need the diapers.

If you are really strapped for cash make diapers out of receiving blankets. We all have a ton of them right?

This is a great site for cheap and free diapering.

What type of shoe or brand of shoe is best for someone who suffers from mid to lower back pain?

My husband has signifigant back pain caused from a car accident three years ago, he also only wear boots. He has never owned a pair of tennis shoes or crocs, but I am wondering if Santa bringing him a new type of shoe might help alleviate some of this back pain. He has high arches if that matters... Can anyone suggest a specific shoe or type of shoe that would help him a bit? I am prepared to spend $50-$75 at the most... Thanks!

You can get some really good walking or tennis shoes for that price,,, at a place like Wal-Mart or chain sporting good stores like Big 5 or Academy Sports for much less,,,, and then get gel soles to put in them,,, it will make them feel like a $200 pair

Here are a few good links your hubby should look at,,, they will help him with the pain.

What type of pain killers are usually prescribed for post operative pain relating to inguinal hernia repair?

What type of pain killers are usually prescribed for post operative pain relating to inguinal hernia repair? Also, what type of pain should a 23 year old otherwise healthy male expect from inguinal hernia repair surgery?

Thanks!
----------

What you are prescribed for postoperative pain depends completely on the doctor. You may get anything from prescription-strength ibuprofen (600mg or 800mg tablets), weak opioids (codeine, propoxyphene), medium-strength opioid (hydrocodone), or stronger opioids (oxycodone, hydromorphone, morphine).

You will most likely get one of the following:
* Tylenol with codeine
* Vicodin, Lortab, Lorcet, or Norco (hydrocodone with acetaminophen (Tylenol))
* Percocet (oxycodone with acetaminophen (Tylenol))
* Percodan (oxycodone with aspirin)
* Combunox (oxycodone with ibuprofen)

Those are the most commonly prescribed medications for acute postoperative pain.

The pain should not be severe as it is not a major surgery. Pain medications with hydrocodone or oxycodone will most likely work just fine. Codeine is weaker and may not work as well. But everyone's body and their response to pain is different, so what works great for one person may not work at all for someone else.

I would take whatever you are given, and if it is not working, or if you are experiencing bad side effects like nausea, vomiting, itching, dizziness, or severe drowsiness, call the surgeon and let him or her know, and you should be switched to something else that may work better for you -- both in how effectiveness in treating your pain and minimizing side effects. There is no reason why you should suffer from undertreated pain or unmanageable side effects from the drugs, so do not be afraid to call the surgeon to adjust or change your medication.  (+ info)

What type of doctor should I visit for arm numbness most likely the result of repetitive motion at work?

I am a baker and stress my arms daily with repetitive motion. Lately I've been having alternating pain and numbness in my wrist, hands, and shoulders. I don't have health insurance, so I don't want to pay several office visit fees going to the wrong type of doctor. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on and what type of doctor I should see?
----------

You need to see a Neurologist, they deal with numbness in the extremities and treat headaches. You may have carpal tunnel or/and a bad rotator cuff. An Orthopedist can diagnose a bad rotator cuff, I'm not sure if a Neurologist can or not. So you may have to see 2 Doctors since it may be 2 different problems.  (+ info)

What type of brush is best to use for applying mineral foundation / finishing powder?

Not really looking for a specific type of brand, just wanna know the exact brush type. I usually apply mineral foundation after my concealer. I also sometimes use mineral finishing powder to set the foundation. I've been using a bronzer brush for my mineral foundation and finishing powder, but I'm open to all other suggestions. Thanks!
----------

a flat top brush or a kabuki works best for mineral foundation. for finishing powder, a floppy brush or a powder brush works best. kabuki or flat top is too dense for the finishing powder :)  (+ info)

What type of fasting is best for control the sex drive? What type is the best for treating sexual addiction?

Does anyone know how fasting works? I heard it helps control sexual desires? What type of fasting is best preferred for this? How should I fast? What method of fasting is the most suited for sexual addiction. Any help would be appreciated!

Sexual addiction is not a problem as long as you are able to function properly, that is, go to work, pay your bills etc.

Sex everyday can add up to 8 years to your life. Sex is good buddy. Why would you want treatment for that.  (+ info)

What type of briefcase is acceptable with a business suit?

When wearing a business suit, what type of bags are acceptable? Obviously black is the color of choice, but does it have to be a briefcase, or are some messenger-type bags an acceptable alternative? Also, when it comes to material, I see a lot of ballistic nylon used in even the most high quality of bags. Has this become acceptable to use with a suit, or does the material have to be leather?
----------

I wear business suits (jacket and matching skirt (or pants for men) when I am meeting with a client. Personally, I use a black leather briefcase that I purchased at an office supply store. I think as long as you choose something that is professional looking and in a basic, solid color such as black, brown or grey you should be fine. Stay away from "trendy" colors and patterns and opt for a business-like look. Best of luck to you.  (+ info)
