Few people I knew in 20s-40s had agina attack real bad, but negative blocked CAD or GERD; etc. and still unknown cause except for suspected infections.

Why is it that sinus infections can be so hard to get rid of sometimes?

Is it because or the location or the infection? In other words can the sinuses be an easy place for organisms to hide or escape from the immune system? I have allergies and as long as I take what the doctor ordered; I am fine for the most part. But if I do not keep my allergies in check; I can get an infection alot easier. I haven't had a sinus infection in a long long time. I just lack understanding on why so many people suffer from this and why these types of infections can be so persistant.

external swelling exactly where? It may be something not related to yeast infection as that is generally internal with some itching and irritation externally. If you got the meds from a doctor and you are still concerned, call and speak to him/her or go back.  (+ info)

I read in a magazine article that you could get an infection in your nails when you get them done at one of those nail salons. They named some things I could do to avoid that and also what I could do to know if the parlor was following the proper sanitary and hygenic guidelines to avoid causing the infections, but I can't remember any of them.

My boyfriend has terrible feet and doesn't take good care of them. He has fungal infections on most of his toenails and on the skin of his feet as well. I'm looking for ways that we can get rid of the infection. Preferably hollistic but I wouldn't mind buying some sort of anti fungal cream if anyone knows of anything. First he needs to use something to get rid of the existing infection,
but he also needs to change his shoe wearing habits. He needs to go barefoot as much as possible. The problem is caused by having his feet encased in closed shoes for too much time each day. The spores of the fungus are found everywhere, but the reason they usually only take hold on feet is because they only thrive in a warm, sweaty, enclosed environment.  (+ info)

I'm 13. This is my first vaginal infection. It's either a yeast or bacterial infection.

Please tell me the symptoms of both types of infections.
Also, does Monistat work for relieving itch?

I used Monistat, my doctor told me too. It really works for relieving the itch, pretty fast. It's good and I think it's ok to use it if you have vaginal discharge more than usually and itchiness. Hope this helps.  (+ info)
