Crowded teeth pushing lateral incisors backwards, should I have it pulled?

I am getting married in 3 months. If I have my lateral incisor removed, will my teeth grow together at all by the wedding?
----------

No ways, you need braces, just have them put it on the front teeth for the wedding, it might improve in 3 months but not be perfect, but dont pull them out please  (+ info)

Why is it always LEFT lateral recumbent position?

We were talking about recovery position today at work and we wondered why it is always referred to as LEFT sided recovery position. The only reason I can discern is that when laying on your left side your stomach is positioned below the esophagus which keeps the patient from vomiting. In all the textbooks it is called left lateral recumbent but it does not explain why. I could use some help explaining this one. Thanks a lot.
----------

The purpose of the left side is to keep pressure off the organs. The only thing on the left side is the pancreas and small intestine. Everything else is on the right hand side. the recovery position is especially important for pregnant women. The weight of the fetus will shift. If the patient has a possible spinal injury, do not put them in the recovery position.  (+ info)

What is calcification in the right lateral aspect of the tentorium cerebelli of the brain?

I had a brain scan as I have been getting bad pains at the back of my head. Can this cause headaches? I saw my doctor and he said calcification is just normal.
----------

See a neurologist. It's time to get a second opinion, as your doctor hasn't offered you any relief from the headaches.  (+ info)

What are the effects of being a cross lateral?

I have a dominant left side (left handed, left footed) but my right eye is the dominant ( much stronger) eye. I have total extinction in my left eye.

There are obvious disadvantages in things like ball games and stereoscopic vision.

Are there any advantages?

How to properly do lateral pull down exercise?

Whenever I do the lat pull down exercise on the weight training machine, I never feel it in my lats, but more in my arms and biceps. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong and what I should be doing so I really feel it in my lats?

Thanks!
----------

Try activating your stomach muscles by" tapping" them with your fingers. Tell your self to "brace" the ab muscles then immediately do the pull down exercise concentrating on just using your arms to pull down and trying not to arch the back. Go all the way to your sides and make sure to do the exercise slowly with constant motion. Barely stop at the top and the bottom...imagine you are a hydraulic machine. That seems to work well. Do 3 sets to fatigue. You should feel it the next day. Best of luck to you!  (+ info)

buldging disks in neck plus one with lateral shift. What does this mean?

I'm not sure what the lateral shift means. I have some symptoms in my hands, numbness, tingling. Nervous about the possibility of surgury. What does it mean for a disk to shift and what are the implications?
Thanks LLIA, my doctor talked about referring me to a neurosurgeon, and just didn't explains things in layman's terms so I've been worrying myself sick for the past 5 days. I appreciate your answer!
----------

Don't worry. This is normally a basic rehab (neurorehab) physio. They'll do everything they can to change the way you hold yourself and walk. Surgery is the last thing they'll want to do. Go to a physio center today and get some advice! Do it now because the pain WILL grow if you don't.  (+ info)

how do you fix gap between lateral incisor and central incisor without the use of braces?

The gap is only about 1mm wide and the gap is the same on the other side (symmetrical). Please provide me with how long it would take to close the gap with it's corresponding method.
----------

Talk to your dentist and see if it can be fixed using a bit of composite resin (or Bond as some people call it), if it's only a small gap it can be done that way. If the gap is due to the lateral tooth being tipped or rotated than they likely will not be able to fix it this way. Ask your dentist about it.  (+ info)
