How will hairy legs effect a tattoos appearance?

I've been wanting to get a tattoo on my leg, it's semi-hairy, not that thick, I can always shave or wax.
My husband has tattoos on his legs and he doesn't shave them. They look fine. Provided the tattoo is done well to begin with and your leg hair isn't like a carpet of dark, dense black hairs I'm sure it will be fine. The tattoo won't look as "sharp" once the hair grows over it but it won't look bad or anything. You can shave if you want but I bet you will find it doesn't look that bad once the hair grows back. My husband only shaves his legs if he is going to tattoo conventions.

I read that when you have heartburn during pregnancy it means you are more likely to have a hairy baby. With my first I did not have heart burn and he barely had any hair, with this one I have horrible heartburn and he is hairy :) Does this work for you? What do you think?

How to make my hairy legs look clean and cared for?

I have very hairy legs and want to keep them but I wear shorts often and this exposes them. I'm not exactly sure what I am after but I don't want my leg hair to look shabby and wiry, I want it to look groomed (but not trimmed or shaven!) and not haywire and caveman appearance. How can I do this? It's as if I want them kind of straightened and close to my leg and not sticking out everywhere.

I wish people asking questions would give more details about themselves and their concerns, it would make answering their question a lot easier and a lot more accurate and meaningful.

About the only safe chemical to use is Rogaine, if you are that serious and old enough.

On the other hand some people are not mean to be hairy.

For example I have two older brothers and two younger brothers. My two older brothers have hair all over their bodies; they look like walking carpets. While me and my two younger brothers have very little body hair, It's just the way it is.

By the way, be carefull of what you wish for, shaving every day is a pain.

Just a quick comment, hair might make you look older, but don't you think you should enjoy your youth first before taking on the complexities of an adult?

My bf has no chest or arm hair whatsoever! And no he doesnt shave it off, his skin feels smother than mine. His legs are pretty hairy but absolutel no hair on his arms and chest. In fact, i think I have more hair on my ams than he does. Isnt this weird? Why is he hairless on the upperbody?

I have about 7-10 large, black moles in my mouth which are located on the roof, my tongue and left cheek inside my mouth. Each mole sprouts about 20 coarse long hairs that get in the way of my eating, affecting the texture and flavor of food, and sometimes I end up swallowing several.

I am 19 and so far and only have a little chest hair. I have hairy arms, legs, ass, can grow some facial hair and can see the small hairs all over my chest, but I want to know if they are going to grow out to give me a full chest of hair. It can have a lot to do with genetics, so if your dad has a hairy chest you might as well. However, I am in my late 20s. My dad has a hairy chest, but I'm almost completely smooth. I actually prefer that, so I'm cool with it. You are still young, so you might grow some more hair in, but it's hard to predict. It may or may not happen.  (+ info)

How can I keep up with my hairy legs?

I am hairy. I was born hairy and I hate it. I use nair but I never have any time to keep up with it. I only get to use it when I have a break from school and work. I know other people (family members) who has hair on their legs and they too have a hectic schedule but they always keep their legs hairless. What can I do? Any suggestions.
You can wax, which does not make the hair thinner, it just wrecks some of the roots after doing it for a long time so the hair can't grow back as easily. Waxing does last longer, but I am guessing you are hairy like me (lol which is bad!) and for me it only lasts like 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 weeks at best. But it is worth it to get waxed if it really bothers you and you can't keep up with it. I get it professionally done which always lasts longer than doing it yourself does. You can get laser hair treatment but it's thousands of dollars, but if you can afford that I would look into it. Oh and shaving does not make the hair thicker in any way, it just cuts the hair so that it has an end so it feels more rough, it was driving me nuts that people are giving you the wrong info there.   (+ info)

Why does it look like my underarms are hairy when I just shaved them?

For some reason, even after I just shaved my underarms, there is a shadow that, when I lift up my arms, makes it look like they're hairy. I know that it's not my razor because I've changed it already and it's a new blade. I use a Venus Embrace.

How do I get rid of this? It's possibly the most annoying thing. Especially during the summer when you want to go to the beach and not have to worry about having hairy armpits.
Mine do the exact same thing. It's sooo frustrating.

The only thing that makes it even a little better is waxing, because the roots are out too, and you can see them through the skin when you shave.

Even after waxing, though, there's some sort of shadow. I've asked all my friends, and a lot of them have the same problem. It seems that underarms just have colors for some reason.

My aunt suggests using a dab of foundation, but I think it's kinda gross with deodorant.
