i have a female friend who is a hairy person. she is hairy almost all over her body. she even has problem with irregular period. so, is there any ways of helping her? is it a problem for a girl to be hairy more than any other average girl. by the way, she is 21.
The Sasquatch answer is BS...we all know it...most men will "mate" with any girl, person, thing their little mini-penis person tells them too. Yer girl there is simply not getting enough estrogen...send her to a doc. It's a rare problem in girls that young but it does happen when there is medical problems with the ovaries. Can someone recommend deodorant that's good for hairy armpits?

I currently use Mitchum Power Gel and it's awful. The gel sticks to my armpit like my penis sticks to my leg on a hot and sweaty day. Are there any deodorants out there that you would recommend for hairy pits? Don't worry, I'm male. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I'm sick of having crusty armpit hair. It is very uncomfortable.

Since you never see a hairy chest on TV or in movies (except as part of a gross joke), can I assume that nobody wants to see it?
I think you bring up a good point. There seems to be an emphasis on pressure for girls to be perfect and "supermodel thin". But its pretty much the same with guys. It doesnt get as much media attention as girls but its true. Guys are supposed to have rock hard abs, huge pecs and a hairless constantly oiled chest.

It doesnt really matter to me about hairy guys going shirtless. If they are comfortable with it, more power to them. I think the only other thing thats worse (not that hairy chests are bad) is if a guy shaves his chest and then theres a little bit of stubble.

You have several options:

I have really hairy legs, and I mean hairy. I'm 15 and they've been hairy since I was.. 12 or so. A few of my friends have seen my hairy legs and pretty much died laughing. I don't want to shave because I really don't give a shit about hairy legs as I never wear shorts because of the weather.
It's completely normal to have lots of hair on your legs, or not much hair at all. We're all different :)

I had really hairy legs from about the age of 10, and I started shaving them when I was 12. In summer I have to shave them every day! In winter I let it go for as long as possible though, because it's just so much effort to shave them all the time.

If your friends laugh at you, tell them it's extra warmth for the winter! It's your choice whether you shave your legs/arms/anything else, so don't worry.  (+ info)
