Medical info: can someone please translate this into PLAIN ENGLISH?

i'm trying to research this drug i'm about to take.
i want to know about the toxicology
but i have no idea what this means:

"No detectable mutagenic or genotoxic activity as determined by the Ames test, mammalian forward mutation assay, in vitro clastogenesis assay, an unscheduled DNA synthesis assay, and in vivo mouse micronucleus test. Did not show carcinogenic potential at doses of 38x and 46x the daily human dose."

can someone help me with what this is trying to say?
----------

There was no detectable mutation or toxicity caused by standard testings. Basically perfectly safe as far as toxicity and cell/gene mutation goes.
Additionally, it showed no potential as a carcinogen (cancer causing agent).

That doesn't rule out any potential of side effects, as they are different from base toxicity information, but it looks like it's pretty safe from this aspect.  (+ info)

In laymen terms it says its safe and did not cause cancer or mutations at 38 - 46 times the dose appropriate for humans  (+ info)
