Is it normal to spot when you are having a Braxton Hicks contraction in 3rd trimester?

I have a BH maybe once a day at for the past week (29 weeks along) and I spot a little a few hours later.

I went to the doctor and had an ultrasound. My cervix is thick and closed. I finally narrowed it down to spotting when I have the BH.

Did you experience this too?
I had an ultrasound already and they dewtermined that my placenta is high next to the baby.
Spotting can be a sign of placenta previa or placental abruption as well as many other things. I suggest you returning to labor and delivery so they can check you out. If they cannot figure out why you are bleeding or spotting, you should go on bed rest as much as possible. Sometimes we as mothers have to know what's best way before our babies are born. We bought a pork roast, which looked completely normal, then even before it was cooked, while it was still completely red all the way through, there was a darker spot (a good sized one) on the top of it. I cooked it, and it was fine, and delicious, but some people wouldn't eat it because of the spot. Was it anything dangerous, or are they just wuss'?

What would cause a spot on my back to itch constantly for numerous years?

I have had a spot right below my left shoulder blade that has itched for almost 5 or 6 years. There are no rashes, abnormalities or any signs of something I could diagnose. It just itches constantly. It is like the eternal insect bite. (Best I can describe it)

Could this be a sign of something serious that is in an early stage?

I've had the same problem for two years and finally went to a dermatologist today. He gave this condition a name that I can't remember–two words. Basically, it's a bundle of nerves at the base of your shoulder blade that are irritated and create an intense itch. He gave me a cortisone cream to use twice a day for six weeks and then follow up with him. If it hasn't improved, the next treatment is a steroid shot to the area. He said this is a common ailment that many people have, but you're the first I've heard about. I didn't ask, but wonder if it has anything to do with having had chicken pox as a child. But evidently it's nothing serious. Just annoying! Good luck!  (+ info)

You can't, takes a few days. Spot cream would knock off a few days but since you don't have days try using foundation to cover it up.  (+ info)
