How fast can you start to expereince morning sickness?

Is it possible to have morning sickness in a matter of a day or two or is something you generally experience after a few weeks/months?
I think it varies. I had morning sickness right off the bat, but my friend never had morning sickness. I also had it worse at night - don't know why it's called morning sickness. Eat crackers before getting out of bed.  (+ info)

Well, aside from barfing of course. This morning I barfed and had a really horrible stomach ache when I woke up. It's about an hour later and now my intestines are grumbling. Do you think it's something I ate? When you are pregnant and have morning sickness, is it JUST in your stomach, or will you have diarrhea or lower intestinal pain too?
constipation is more common w pregnancy than diarrhea, but every woman is different. for me i wake up w a sour stomach and feel sick to my stomach when ever it is empty. best thing to do is have saltine crackers by your bed. it does help. check w your doctor if you don't feel better soon.   (+ info)

About a week ago, I took a positive pregnancy test. I figure that I'm somewhere between 2 and 3 weeks along, but I haven't made it to the doctor yet, so I don't know for sure. For the past three days I've felt extremely nauseous. I thought it was too early to be getting morning sickness, but my friend says it can start pretty early. Have I come down with something or is it really morning sickness?

The discovery health program had a new special on yesterday and said that the latest studies show that women can begin experiencing the first signs of pregnancy as early as eight days after conception. So congrats it is most likely morning sickness. And although it sucks let me give you some good news. I've had two children before this, and never experienced morning sickness before... If I am pregnant it can't be more than 2- 3 weeks, but I started throwing up a week ago, constantly. So I was wondering if I could possibly be pregnant, because it's too early for an over the counter test.

Yesterday, I had unprotected sex and today I threw up without feeling sick like, at all. I'm just wondering, is it possible that this is morning sickness? or is it too soon after sex to be morning sickness?
Morning sickness generally doesn't set in until you are between 7-9 weeks pregnant... Some get it sooner, some get it later, some never get it at all, but on average, it takes quite some time before you get the classic pregnancy symptoms such as morning sickness.

It's not possible for you to have any symptoms if you just had sex yesterday b/c you're not even pregnant yet. It takes 2-3 days for the sperm to even FIND the egg and then 6-12 days for the egg to implant into the uterus and start producing the hormones that cause symptoms.

I am just wondering. I am a week away from my period. For the last week I have been so sick to my stomach. Its mostly at night around 11pm. My stomach just hurts. I get it in the morning to and by afternoon its gone. But I do get it about 2 hours or so after I eat. Its like my digestive system has just slowed right down and nothing is moving. And now I am consipated. Could it be possible it is morning sickness or is it really too soon for that and could just be something else.

i started being sick a week before any test showed i was pregnant, you know you body best!!

the best thing to do would be to buy a test and confirm it though, some of the more expensive tests work from around 5 days before you are due but ive always just used cheap tests and they havent been wrong yet!! If you get a neg result and are still late test again a few days later, morning is best.

Oddly I didn't have any morning sickness in my first trimester, but around week 20 I started getting waves of nausea. I also haven't had much of an appetite. Lately I've been very run down so perhaps that's the reason?

Anyone else?
might want to have them check you for the pregnancy diabetes thing and toxemia just to be safe ,but weird crap happens to your body when your pregnant, and its different with everyone...and every pregnancy you have is different...good luck  (+ info)

When does morning sickness peak during the first trimester?

I'm six weeks pregnant and I've noticed my sickness is definitely worst in the morning. It comes and goes during the day but it only gets bad if I haven't eaten anything. When did your morning sickness peak? I haven't had it really bad...which also makes me nervous that something could be wrong. Whats your sickness like?
everybody is different so no one can really tell you how yours is going to be.. I got mine at 6 weeks and im still getting it and im 17 weeks pregnant.. mine gets worse when i dont eat too tho. but i throw up out of nowhere and prenatals make me really sick right away. How do I get over this morning sickness?

I'm 11 weeks along and for the last three weeks straight I've been so sick. I have morning sickness in the morning, in the afternoon, at night. Whenever I smell food it makes me sick. I've been dropping weight because I have a hard time keeping food down. Any suggestions?
After 11 weeks your body will still be going through hormonal trauma of building a whole new body.

If you are sick all day long, it may be time to visit your MD again, but from my point of view, it may be your vitamin supplements.

Any time your body reacts to nutrition, whether it is in "construction" or not, the "food" or supplement is artificial, or is loaded with preservatives, additives or colorings. These are poison to the new baby, and is conducive to starving the fetus.

My humble suggestion would be to visit with a Nutritionist in your area. Explain the situation in detail, and that person will make suggestions regarding your diet and activity routine.

It is important to understand that with your condition being virtually irreversible, you may have to deal with some initial discomfort; that said, weight loss is the last thing you need to experience. Every MD I know will tell you that you need at least 100 grams of pure protein per DAY, to build new muscle tissue, along with 100-250 grams of COMPLEX carbohydrates per day to metabolise the protein. GOOD fats are also necessary to help in building brain tissue and shielding the new nervous system of the baby.

I could go on, but you get the idea. I also have a tasty, CHEAP, and easy way to control your nausea. It may cost about $4.00 per month....

i had a very bad case of morning sickness with my daughter, and now I'm planning to get pregnant again, but I'm scared stiff of morning sickness woes! I read somewhere that the Bio band wrist band works very well for MS. Has any of you used it before for MS? Any testimonies? did it work or not? Please Help! Thanks!
