You need to be doing your own homework. Grab your text book, lecture notes, search the web for reputable sources (i.e. not yahoo answers), etc. and study hard.

You could always form a study group if you are wanting to bounce ideas and solutions off each other. That way you can have a group discussion about the rationales for the right answer and the wrong ones too (it's just as important to know why the wrong ones are wrong). You'll learn the content better this way.

It's one thing to come on Yahoo and ask for answers and another to ask for guidance as to reputable reference sites. One way may get you the answer but you won't really learn, versus the other way requiring more work but you'll gain more knowledge.

Cheating continues to be problematic and honest students are becoming more vocal about academic infractions occurring.

Be honorable.

Fibromyalgia? Anyone diagnosed with fibromyalgia, then with a more serious autoimmune/ nervous system disease?

...like MS, lupus, others?? I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia a few years ago, but my condition is getting much worse (it seems) and lots of other symptoms...?
----------

Yes I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and was given the lyrica to help with my pain. A few weeks of that and the pain was horrible. It turned out that yes I have antiphospholipid syndrome which is an autoimmune/blood disorder.

It took almost 4 months for numerous doctors and specialists to figure out what was wrong with me. Dont put up with the pain, keep asking questions and going to different doctors.  (+ info)

What disease(s) affect both the Respiratory System and the Nervous System?

I am trying to answer a couple of questions for my A+P class...I am looking for any disease that affects both the respiratory system and the nervous system.

SLE otherwise known as lupus is a good answer. Additionally, you may think of chronic wasting and progressive neurological disorders i.e. ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) or Lou Gehrigs disease et al. As well, HIV infection can have serious (if not fatal) pulmonary and neurologic sequelae. I am sure there are others.  (+ info)

How do you boost your immune system to fight off a cold, allergy, or flu if you have an autoimmune disease?

Am writing a school paper about multiple sclerosis, so if you can relate your answer to MS, that would be awesome. I am very puzzled: The immune system is misidentifying myelin as a foreign invader, so if you "feed" nutrition to the immune system to fight off a virus or pollen, for example, doesn't it also increase the autoimmune response that destroys the myelin sheath?
----------

i think you should really do a research paper on the credibility of the theory of autoimmune diseases. are they really the cause of the immune system fighting the body?

autoimmune diseases are kind of controversial.  (+ info)

What are the functions of the immune system, and what is an autoimmune disease?

Please help!
----------

IMMUNE SYSTEM is a protection mechanism of an organism against millions of bacteria, microbes, viruses, toxins and parasites that would love to invade the body. The immune system is very complex and are made up of several organs, hence it is a system -- thymus, spleen, lymph system, bone marrow, white blood cells, antibodies, complement system & hormones.

An autoimmune disease occurs when your immune system attacks itself by mistake, and you can get sick. Autoimmune diseases can affect connective tissue in your body (the tissue which binds together body tissues and organs). Autoimmune disease can affect many parts of your body, like your nerves, muscles, endocrine system (system that directs your body’s hormones and other chemicals), and digestive system.  (+ info)
