I sweat when it is 37 in front of people but i don't sweat when it is 90 and am alone.Can anybody tell me the oral medicine for facial sweating because i was unable to attend christmas party because dry-sol no longer prevent sweating .

What harm can oral surgery due to a pregnancy if you were not aware of being pregnant?

I had oral surgery on Friday! I was put to sleep for the extractions and given pain meds. I found out on Tuesday that I was pregnant! Now I am scared for the baby!
In the past much dental and medical procedures were performed on women who did not know that they were pregnant. The vast majority of babies were fine and there were no problems. You can get more information from your OB doctor. I would also not take the pain meds and try to get by on Tylenol. I wouldn't worry.  (+ info)

What can I use to effectively, yet safely, clean my oral-piercings?

I just noticed a hard build-up on the bottom part of my tongue ring. Anyways, how can I remove this? Are there any home remedies as far as cleaning and disinfecting oral jewelry is concerned? Where and how should you store extra piercings?

You can use a hot salt water soak to loosen up the plaque (which is most likely what is building up onto your tongue ring, it's normal for oral piercings) This salt water soak should be made with a little bit of SPECIFICALLY non-iodized sea salt in a small pot of water. You don't need much salt, maybe 1/4 tsp for 8 oz of water. Swish it around in your mouth and let the heat soften the plaque, then you can use q-tips or (if your piercing is fairly healed) LIGHTLY use a clean toothbrush to scrub it off. You may also want to try using a non-alcoholic mouthwash once or twice a day like Tech 2000, Biotene, or H2Ocean.

Body jewelry not currently in use can be washed with any gentle antimicrobial soap (Softsoap is easy to find, Provon and Satin are medical grade soaps that can be ordered online) dried and stored in a jewelry case or whatever is convenient and clean. I use a small fishing tackle box from a sporting goods store- it's already segmented.  (+ info)

I have tried the shampoo's and many of the treatments, and I still get dandruff. Does anyone know of any oral prescription drugs that help to prevent the problem of dandruff? Thanks.

So this weekend I got really drunk and ended up having sex with this guy. I've had sex with him before and we've always used a condom. I started with oral and made sure he used a condom then too. But I kept drinking and I ended up giving him oral again but didn't use a condom. What can i catch from it?

What is the best oral acne medication to take?

I have adult acne (Inflammatory acne ) and i'v taken the topical meds but they do not work and i am going to the dermotolegest today and i would like to be in the know about the best oral medication out there.
Here are just a few tips to treat them so they would disappear and not multiply.

First of all, when you see a small pimple, try to avoid the temptation of popping it. Popping it can cause it to multiply as it can spread the infection underneath the skin and the next morning you'd find dozens of them on your face! If ever you do pop a zit, make sure you wash it with soap and water or some alcohol to avoid the risk of infection.

Second, wash your face morning and night using mild soap or facial wash. You need to keep your face clean but you don't need strong cleansers to do this. Stay with the mild ones so you would avoid irritation.

Third, choose the right toner. Toner is the new astringent as it's a lot gentler to the skin. After washing your face, apply facial toner.

Fourth, exfoliate. Don't exfoliate your skin everyday! Exfoliate every three days and use a gentle scrub. Don't use a product that once used would make your face feel like it's been scrubbed by sandpaper. Your facial skin is really sensitive and it can't handle such beating. Be gentle with it.

Lastly, get enough sleep. Not enough sleep can cause pimple breakouts so make sure you get 8 hours of sleep a night. Sleep is a very important thing as it reduces your stress level. Stress influences acne breakouts so in order to reduce your stress level, get some sleep! When you have plenty of sleep, you don't only get rid of acne but you feel much happier too!

Anyone have experience with oral motor issues with their child? When did they finally start talking?

my two year old has been diagnosed with oral motor weakness. The st is starting alot of exercises with him.
My brother was diagnosed for being slower than most children when he was about 3. Right after that he started speech therapy and hasn't stopped talking since. My sister was diagnosed with mild autism at the age of 3 as well and she went through speech therapy and all sorts of things, even motricity therapy.. Now she's in grade 2 and top in her class. It may seem like they'll always be slow, but once you get them going, the result is amazing and worth the wait.
