Premenstrual Syndrome ?

I have stomach cramping, nausea for about a week 1/2, headaches, anxiety, and I think my tummy is a little bloated, different bowel movements, I have not gotten my first period yet, but I have under arm hair, and some down there, and my breasts are a little sore, is this PMS?
I just put back on like 20 pounds because i just recovered from anorexia nervosa a few months ago, and am now 5 foot 4 in and 122 pounds.

I think that you should go to a Supportive therapy that includes evaluation, reassurance, and informational counseling, and is an important part of therapy in an attempt to help the patient regain control over her life. In addition, aerobic exercise has been found in some studies to be helpful. Some PMS symptoms may be relieved by leading a healthy lifestyle: Reduction of caffeine, sugar, and sodium intake and increase of fiber, and adequate rest and sleep. and glad to help!  (+ info)

what can i do when my girlfriend was facing premenstrual syndrome problem?

i'm really love my girlfriend, when she was facing premenstrual syndrome problem i will feel so worry. i feel worry when i saw her gain the pain like that. can somebody tell me what can i do to reduce the pain that gain by my girlfriend when she facing this kind of problem? please! I love my girlfriend so much.i don't have the heart to see her like that.

Be there for her. If she gets angry easily, be understanding. These are the hormones talking. If she wants something salty or sweet, encourage her. When women have PMS they want to be pampered, you know, they want hugs and affectionate stuff, like stroking her face, rubbing her back. Surprise her by renting a movie and sit on the couch with her to watch it together. Snuggle up together, be lazy with her. When us women have PMS, we want to take it easy. Cook for her, help her out in the house chores, if you live together. Offer to do something that you know she will appreciate, i.e. do the dishes or take the dog out for a walk, do the grocery and so on.
It is so nice of you to care about your girl so much as to want to relieve her pain. Some men are not that understanding. She should count herself lucky. Good for you!  (+ info)

What's the difference between premenstrual syndrome and pregnancy signs?

I'm having a problem determining if I'm pregnant or just having one of those premenstrual syndromes. My last period was on July 2 and I had contact on July 16.. my usual menstrual gaps are either 28 or 31 days.. I'm having these signs like fatigue, nausea, constipation, frequent urinating, nipple pain, back pains and cramps. could it be that I'm pregnant? Is it time for me to buy the pregnancy test kit or would it be too early? please help!

its either pregnancy or severe Endomitriosis. its late enough now that you can take a test,i suggest ClearBlue easy digital pregnancy test.if your negative then go to the gyno asap and ask to be checked for Endomitriosis.  (+ info)

What type of herbs can I take for Premenstrual Syndrome & Endometritus?

I do not want to take prescribed medicines as they have serious side effects and I cannot take birth control pills as they make my veins swell. I have heard of this stuff called Estogen w/ soy & black kohash. or the Estrogen PMS ... Has any one had any side effects from any of these? Also, do they work? I saw that they are available over the counter but I am hesitant to take them until I research more. I am also, looking for something that will releive migraines, headaches naturally.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
----------

Here are some all natural supplements that are very effective for PMS and most also are very helpful for relieving headaches.

GLA Complex: regains hormonal imbalance by minimizing fluctuations due to nutrient deficiency

B-Complex: helps regain hormonal imbalance; reduces stress; reduces water

Alfalfa Complex: reduce trace mineral deficiencies; reduces water retention; anti-inflammatory especially for sinus pressure

Lecithin: insulates nerve bundles; absorptive aid for all fat soluble nutrients

OsteoMatrix: reduces cramps; reduces insomnia; reduces vascular tension

Hope this is useful and feel free to contact me with questions or if you wish to know the brand I use.  (+ info)

How long will my premenstrual syndrome last?

I was angry and moody and irritable on Friday, started crying Saturday and had mild stomach cramps in the evening. Do this sound like PMS? My hips hurt slightly too. How long will these symptoms last before I get my period?
stomach uncomfortable now with slight pangs.
Can you feel the blood coming out? Sorry to ask gross questions but I'm new.
----------

Have you had your first period yet?

That does sound like PMS, and no, you can really feel the blood coming out, just maybe a trickle every now and then. You don't bleed when you're lying down, so when you stand up, you might feel a rush of blood, but nothing to bad.

Good luck!  (+ info)

Is this premenstrual syndrome and natural remedies?

Every month, about a week before my period, I get really down. I feel like I can't do anything, get really upset easily and find I just can't enjoy anything. Doesn't affect me too badly unless I drink and then I turn into a complete crying mess :P

Is this pms? And if so does anyone know any natural cures for it?
----------

Okay, this can affect some people worse than others. If you are affected for about a week, then that sucks. :(

It is PMS, (also known as PMT) which stands for premenstrual stress/syndrome or tension. it is natural and it can be awful. You just have to experiment and learn what works to make you happier at this time.

You can try eating foods / drinking (not alcohol) things with natural chemicals that can make you feel happy or relaxed. Herbal or sweet teas can help, or surprisingly, chocolate is a natural aphrodisiac and makes you feel happy.

Don't drink alcohol. Many people think it is a stimulant, but it is actually a depressant. If you're already feeling down, it naturally depresses you even further. it would be best just to avoid it until you know how much you can deal with at this time of the month.

Try to think of things that cheer you up (movies, foods, friends, books, activities, etc) and have a back up plan for when you feel especially depressed. You can get your friends to help you out by going somewhere with them or just dragging them over to watch a chick flick.

Try to avoid stress as much as possible. Just deal with one thing at a time, and tell yourself that you can only take things one step at a time, and that you'll worry about other things later. This can help you deal.

Set aside time alone to just relax and get yourself feeling better, as this will help you with going out and doing things with others later.

Music can be a big help, either angry/sad music to get out your feelings at this time, or relaxing music to settle your emotions. Sometimes one will work better than another.

Exercise, especially something relaxing or an individual sport, can help with both pain (if you feel it) and being depressed, even if it seems like the last thing you want to do is be active. Trust me, i know, but your body produces natural chemicals to make you happier when you exercise, and it will distract you from anything you are stressing about.

I hope this helps, and good luck!

How can you control your premenstrual syndrome?

Is there any way I can controll my anger with it?
----------

Track when you know your going to have your period, try taking midol or something that will kill your headaches and cramps. Then just try to relax and be as stress free as possible, take relaxing bubble baths, and just take time for yourself. If you feel that it cannot be controlled then I would talk to your doctor about birthcontrol or other methods he/she has in mind  (+ info)
