I have my gall bladder removed 3 weeks ago, and I still have a hard time eating. Some days I have the feeling of fullness and pressure in my chest after eating only a few bites of food, I get stiffness and soreness in my back and I feel bloated and can't burp. Could this be an ulcer? Is it common to feel this way after gall bladder surgery?

The best thing you can do is keep pressure off of it. For instance, when you lay in bed, don't lay with pressure on your heels. If you sleep on your back, place a pillow under your legs to make your feet hang off the edge. That way, air circulates around the sore, and oxygen will help heal it.

Here in the hospital, we use xenaderm for bad pressure ulcers. Ask your doc for a sample. If he won't, then try triple antibiotic ointment at night. There are no home remedies for getting rid of decubitus ulcers. Just stay off the area and keep it really clean.

If it's very deep, I would recommend seeing your doctor. The deep ones don't heal well by themselves. GL.  (+ info)

Easy.

Take some gauze (or soft foam) and tape it around the tubing, near where your ears would fit. Put the cannula on & slide the padding into place.

The reason that you can't find it is that the statement is wrong - it depends on the type of ulcer.

EG duodenal ulcers occur more frequently in men than women, stomach ulcers develop more frequently in women than men  (+ info)
