Clear Cell-Sarcoma Enquiry for my Mum...?

Hi Respected Sirs and Mdms, thnks for answering back all my questions without hestiation, thanks alot.

However, there is something i wish to ask about. My mum has being diagnosed with this cancer called clear cell sarcoma on the surface of the foot. The lump has already being removed. However, after the wounds have dried off and still waiting for the radiation therapy, my mum is having sleepless night because of the pain on the foot. The pain-killer she used to consume, has effect in the past, however, the pain-killer doesn't seems to work on her anymore.. Sometimes, the dried wound may seep out a bit of blood. May i know what is wrong?
Or is there any methods or medicines to introduce to me so as to help me mum with her sleepless night?.

To add on, my mum was also diagnosed with Lung cancer and Lymph node has started swollen...
She is becoming tolerant to the pain medication. She needs to call the doctor and let him know that the pain meds aren't working and they can up the dosage. Also; have her try the rx drug Ambien. It is a sleep aid that I've used for a long time to help me sleep (I have RSD).  (+ info)

Hi all, i seriously need help... my mum had a foot lump which the doctor call it clear cell sarcoma, being removed 2 about 2 2 to 3 months ago. She was also discovered with lung cancer 2 years ago. However, nowadays my mum have lymph node growing about 5 to 6 of them on her body. One of them was remove to do some experiment and to know whether it is from the lungs or from her foot. Result was from her lungs. These few days my mum has also started becoming restless and tired and having whole bodyache... Please everyone... my mum is is just 55 years old... And she have not even yet to put on the graduation hat for me... And i have yet to earn money to bring her for an overseas trip.. What i seriously wanted to know is... all this restless and tireness she having.. how long more can she live and what stage she is now.. Please help me... please.......
she recently also have some gastric problems despite feeling hungry.. please guys.. help me....
to add-on from my mum's desicion, she refused chemo because she knew she won't get to cure it and because of her weak body... so please guys.. what i wanted to know is how long more can she lived on.. and what is her stage of cancer... She nvr being on a honeymoon or took a plane.. please.. my heart really hurts.. i dunno what a stupid child like me can do...
Doctor actually prescibe this medicine called "Gefitinib" may i know will it be effective towards the spreading of her lungs?. Please help me...

Gefitinib is inhibitor of epidermal growth factor receptor's (EGFR) which are often found in non-small cell carcinomas. You are not giving enough information to know what stage her cancer is, but Gefitinib is only recommended in stage 3-4 lung cancers in patients that had already underwent chemo. I’m not sure what you mean by “spreading of her lungs.”  (+ info)

any information at all online about this cancer. If anyone has any info or links to any "useful" websites on this cancer please let me know. My tumor was in my right humerus, just above elbow. They say I will need more surgery to clear all margins, shave bone, muscles, etc. Not sure on radiation and/or chemo yet. Very nervous about lack of info I am able to find about this cancer.
"Spindle cell" sarcoma is more of a descriptive term (what it looks like under microscope) rather than a histologic term. Usually these are undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma, malignant fibrous histiocytomas, leimyosarcomas, fibrosarcoma, synovial cell sarcoma. Your confusion is understandable as these cancers are difficult to classify many times. If you will email me, i'll be happy to send you some info on soft tissue sarcomas. I agree that with these rare cancers, being treated at a major center with lots of experience is best. You should also try www.cancer.gov for information.

Hi All,
My father found a tumor on his left tie. Initially he went on surgery and doctors removed the tumor, but they left some part of the tumor. Then it spread into one of the lymph node near by the tumor. We again took PET scan and found the Cancer cells are present only in the same place, but they found multiple nodules near by lungs have metastatic lesions. Right now doctors again did the surgery and removed all the portion of tumor and Lymph node. Now they are searching for the right treatment through which they can kill the cancer cells in the lungs. Please advice if you know any kind of treatment which is good at this position. If you know anybody who survived from same position.

Please suggest me very good hospital in India for cancer.
I don’t know why they would leave part of the tumor knowing it would spread. This is a rare cancer with a poor prognosis and there is no standard treatment. I’m sorry.  (+ info)

I live across the country from most of my friends and family and my boyfriend just moved away for the summer. I spend about 2 hours a day on the phone, minimum. As a result, one side of my face is covered with acne. Has this happened to anyone else? How can I clear this up?

My 5 1/2 year old lab was just diagnosed with a medium-highly malignant tumor. The diagnosing vet has refferred us to an Oncologist and already taken a biopsy, but I don't know what else to do. Prognosis for Clear Cell Cancer of the Uterus?

I have been recently diagnosed with Clear Cell Cancer of the Uterus. It was originally diagnosed as Pleomorphic Round Cell Sarcoma. I understand both types of cancers are EXTREMELY rare, and considered Grade 3, and the prognosis is not good. I have a complete hysterectomy coming up in a week and trying to find out the prognosis for this cancer, and anyone who has had this type of cancer of the uterus for any and all information they may have. HELP IS APPRECIATED. Thank you.
Clear cell adenocarcinoma of uterus is a high grade malignant tumor in the endometrium not related to DES (Diethylstilbestrol).
DES has been linked to clear cell adenocarcinoma, an uncommon cancer of the vagina or cervix, in daughters of women who used DES during pregnancy.
The prognosis is bad because the clear cell adenocarcinoma of the endometrium tends to invade deeply into the wall of the uterus and likely spread to other tissues.
So the treatment is usually more aggressive with chemo and/or radiation.
Pleomorphic round cell sarcoma sounds very unusual. There is an old reference on round cell sarcoma. It may look like Ewing's sarcoma with round and clear cell features.
Due to the high recurrence, some suggest chemo and radiation therapy for sarcoma.
