Why does google images only show the most severe/extreme pics of skin diseases?

I am talking mainly about Rosacea and Lupus (the skin rash symptoms). I don't find this particularly useful or helpful in trying to gain a broader insight into these conditions. It doesn't represent the varying degrees of severity of these conditions for which there are many. Does anyone else agree?

I agree, I think they want you to know the worst case scenerio,,but it doesn't help with what you want..  (+ info)

What genetic diseases could occur within a child born from incest?

I just read a story, and in it has a child whose parents were brother and sister (and their parents were also brother and sister)

how would this affect the child in terms of genetics?
----------

Some side effects are:
Elevated incidence of recessive genetic diseases
Reduced fertility both in litter size and in sperm viability
Increased congenital defects such as cryptorchidism, heart defects, cleft palates.
Fluctuating assymetry (such as crooked faces, or uneven eye placement and size).
Lower birthweight
Higher neonatal mortality
Slower growth rate
Smaller adult size, and
Loss of immune system function

Regarding genetics:
The offspring of consanguineous relationships are at greater risk of certain genetic disorders. These autosomal recessive disorders occur in individuals who are homozygous for a particular recessive gene mutation. This means that they carry two copies (alleles) of the same gene. Except in certain rare circumstances (new mutations or uniparental disomy) both parents of an individual with such a disorder will be carriers of the gene. Such carriers are not affected and will not display any signs that they are carriers, and so may be unaware that they carry the mutated gene. As relatives share a proportion of their genes, it is much more likely that related parents will be carriers of an autosomal recessive gene, and therefore their children are at a higher risk of an autosomal recessive disorder. The extent to which the risk increases depends on the degree of genetic relationship between the parents; so the risk is greater in mating relationships where the parents are close relatives, but for relationships between more distant relatives, such as second cousins, the risk is lower (although still greater than the general population).[18] A 1994 study found a mean excess mortality with inbreeding at the first cousin level of 4.4%  (+ info)

Can Veet cause any cancer or skin diseases?

I used it on a small circle on my leg and it actually worked. Now I read on here that someone said that you can get cancer or diseases from it. I wouldn't think so, though. Is it true?

By the way, does it work for you? I've never shaved or anything and removed some, so I wanna know if when it grows back, will it still remove the hair?

Can removing all the toxins out of your body get rid of any genetic disorder or genetic diseases?

If not why not? If a disorder or disease is caused by a toxin they can't it be corrected with removing of the toxin?
----------

No. Genetic disorders are deeply embedded in your DNA, and unless you are exposed to deadly radiation, you can't change your DNA code.
Also, even if you were to remove "toxins" from your body that could be causing the disease...it makes no sense. Genetic Disorder is just that, its genetic, and not caused by toxins or any other environmental eelements.  (+ info)
