What is wrong with me?

I've noticed in the past few months, while I have been studying WWII, that I have a fascination with nazis, in particular, Josef Mengele and Heinrich Himmler. I remember watching the pianist quite some time ago, and I was in tears pretty much the whole movie. I'm watching Schindler's list right now, and I actually care more about the nazis than the jews. I don't understand, because seeing these innocent people getting killed should make me cry, but I don't really care about them dying, I just want to see more scenes depicting Hitler and the SS.
I don't know why I'm so fascinated with Mengele in particular, but the experiments he did, were just, astounding.
I know it's wrong to feel this way, and my therapist thinks I'm going to start murdering animals, but I don't feel homicidal, and I don't feel much of anything really, other than this, thing, about Nazis.
I've also been really studying Dis-associative Identity Disorder, Schizophrenia, Homicidal Somnambulism and other weird things like that.
Is this some phase I'm going through?
I probably don't feel as terrible about this as I should.
it's all just so, interesting.

Having a fascination with death and dying is completely normal as far as being human goes. We've always been as obsessed by it, and we still are today - just look at all of the crime-and-murder shows on telly.
It's fairly disturbing that you actually care about sick, perverted men like Mengele and Heinrich, however I don't know what can be done if you are telling the truth about not feeling homicidal or wanting to hurt animals or people. As long as that is the case, I don't think that there's anything to be overly concerned about.
It's most likely a personality quirk, a little idiosyncracy, and you're probably not alone in it. I'd probably keep quiet about it though as it could upset a lot of people to talk to them openly about it.
I think maybe you'd feel different if the Nazis were alive and in power today, as time has a habit of wearing away the emotion involved with an event like this. And we as people become really desensitised to murder and tragedy like this because we see it on our television screens all of the time.  (+ info)

Half asleep, half awake, and say the most ridiculous things?

Not ALL THE TIME (*Dramatic music*), but very common I have times when I am woken up by someone, that I will say the most ridiculous things, most often between 5-8 pm when napping.
Example:
(I'm 15 btw)

I was napping once during the news around 6'ish. Mom wakes me up and I start going, "Google....it's...in my hand! I can just search...with my hands!" She told me to go back to sleep.

Sometimes I forget words or am just totally fucked up and out of it, almost like I'm high or something, and the other people are always giggling and laughing because of how ridiculous I am. I do talk in my sleep a bit but this is totally different. In the moment it'll take me awhile to clear my head before I realize I'm being ridiculous, or I'll fall back asleep and look back on it and recognize the kind of out-of-it feeling I had.

Is there a name for this, like is this a form of sleepwalking/somnambulism, or is this just how people are...I've never seen my friends/family act that crazy before upon waking up.
I'm not sure if I've had sleep paralysis honestly, I'm pretty sure I haven't?
I haven't been dreaming too harshly lately. It just seems to be when I'm napping, and especially when my mother wakes me. (Maybe she just says weird shit, because she doesn't "wake me up", she just comes in talking...)
Now that I think about it...I usually am facing straight one way and I'm usually not moving. It's not that I cannot, but rather my brain just isn't fully functioning, that's part of the being 'high' feeling, I'm just babbling and shit and yeah, I'm usually frozen but I never notice that i'm frozen...

Mum has Alzheimer and in a residency. They want to strap her to bed to stop night walking. Any alternatives?

I proposed to try sedatives, the doctor refused totally saying that she is now non-stop getting up at night. He said to me today that it was imperative I visit him tomorrow in order to give my approval to her being strapped to the bed all night.
I feel this is excessive as there are night carers. Does anyone have any suggestions of other courses of action to prevent this somnambulism before giving my approval?
I'm desperate and worried that she could go worse as she is in the 2nd phase of the illness.
Many thanks for your support.
Pirate Duchess, I live in Spain where the health care seems to be a little less caring than yours. She is in a public residency, but for the first six months we have to pay an excessive amount of money, and I feel that I should have more of a say in how she is cared for, unfortunately this is not the case.

Somnambulism?

This is a new thing for me: two nights this week, I woke up to find my son in my bed, having no recollection of waking up in the night and getting him. Anytime I wake up in the night, for whatever reason, I _always_ look at the clock and remember in the a.m. what time I woke. This was not the case for the two nights this week. So I think I must be sleepwalking. Besides being wierd, it worries me because what else might I do in my sleep? I've heard somnambulism can be dangerous too. Has anyone else experienced this? And also experienced it suddenly, older in life (I am 30)- I know kids do this more frequently than adults too. Thanks.
----------

I have never sleepwalked, but my brother used to. He used to leave the house most nights, luckily, he generally ended up next door so he didn't go too far. We couldn't lock the door as he would still get out somehow, so it was best to let him go out the front door rather than damage himself trying to get out of a window or something.
