Some of the most common symptoms of Stomach Flu are: diarrhea, fever, headache, dehydration and vomiting. Vomiting and fever may or may not occur, but diarrhea almost always occurs. The symptoms of stomach flu usually takes several days to appear.

The major symptom of an ulcer is a burning or gnawing feeling in the stomach area that lasts between 30 minutes and 3 hours. This pain is often interpreted as heartburn, indigestion or hunger. The pain usually occurs in the upper abdomen, but sometimes it may occur below the breastbone. In some individuals the pain occurs immediately after eating. In other individuals, the pain may not occur until hours after eating. The pain frequently awakens the person at night. Weeks of pain may be folowed by weeks of not having pain. Pain can be relieved by drinking milk, eating, resting, or taking antacids.

Appetite and weight loss are other symptoms. Persons with doudenal ulcers may experience weight gain because the persons eats more to ease discomfort. Recurrent vomiting, blood in the stool and anemia are other symptoms.  (+ info)

Pepto Bismol is an acid reducer so it really shouldn't harm your ulcer at all. However, if you are concerned about the aspirin, there is another drug called Nauzene that is specifically for nausea that works great. Give that a try and see if it works for you, good luck!  (+ info)

----------

There is one simple way to cure your problem; You must have a juicer to apply this threatment. The best juicer on the market is the Jack lalanne's power juicer, 2nd the Juiceman II. .....You buy some fresh cabbage and run it through the juicer untill it fills the glass-about 10 ounces. If you drink 4 glasses a day for two weeks your ulcer will go away....You must drink the juice within one minute to avoid the vitamin u from evaporating, that is the vitamin that will cure you......Good health to you.....KECK  (+ info)

Stomach ulcers present with very bad crampy stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, and if they are bleeding then: blood in vomit, blood in stool (dark, tarry stool).

Stomach ulcers usually occur in people already suffering from reflux, which is a disease where acidic stomach contents of the stomach come up the esophagus causing heartburn (chest/abdo pain). They are made worse using certain medications (NSAIDs, such as ibuprofen).

Your symptoms (dizzy, nausea, stomach pain, diarrhoea) can be caused by a variety of causes (gastritis, reflux, probably not ulcer unless you are middle-aged, bile duct or gallbladder problems, irritable bowel syndrome, anxiety, undiagnosed celiac disease, infections: gastroenteritis, ?urinary tract infections, pregnancy, stress/anxiety, period pain...etc).

If your symptoms are troubling you, see your GP for proper history, examination, investigation tests and management.  (+ info)
