What spices taste good in a tuna casserole?

My husband and I are out of food and out of money for another few days. Very little in the pantry, but I have rice, a double can of tuna, cream of celery, and some cans of veggies, a few jars of spices. What spices should I add to make it taste right and how much?

I have aways chilled my water in the fridge but I find when it's been left and warms up to room temperature it tastes vile (from tasting ok before I put it in the fridge).
So my question is,
Does the water actually change taste or does the plastic bottle have an effect on the taste of the water once it becomes warm?

For some time I've noticed an unpleasant taste in my mouth, particularly towards the end of my sleep. I have a bottle of water permanently next to my bed to remove the taste when I need to.

Yesterday I had a endoscopy procedure (ie. from the mouth) to check if there is a gastric 'reflux' problem. This possibility is something my dentist alerted me to during a routine examination recently. He said there was some evidence that my back teeth were eroding, possibly due to a reflux problem.

The outcome was that I had a rather expensive endoscopy procedure completed in a private hospital yesterday

The result was good. That is, the doctor confirmed afterward that every thing was normal. That is, he could see no reason why I should be having this problem. He also confirmed the walls of my stomach and throat were fine with no tumors, ulcers and any other problem.

Any suggestions as to how I can get rid of this awful taste in my mouth during the night?

Okay :

1 - Don't sleep immediately after dinner ( have at least 3 to 4 hr interval ) .
2 - Consume a low volume diet specially at nights .
3 - If you feel posterior nasal discharge , take an ENT appointment for evaluation of any sinunasal problems .
4 - Use a tall pillow , or elevate the head of the bed ( about 12cm ) .
5 - Bottle of water is a good idea but don't use water , cola and coffee or tea with your meals .
6 - Avoid using too much fruit , specially sour taste fruits .
7 - Have at least 1 hr walking after dinner while chewing a sugar free gum .
8 - Stop smoking .
9 - Use less coffee and tea than you use previously .
10 -I'm sure! that you brush your teeth at least 3 times a day ,aren't you !? .  (+ info)

How do they get veggie bacon to taste so real?

I eat veggie chicken, it tastes similar, but not exact. Veggie roast beef, is pretty far from the real thing, unless it's a veggie burger. Veggie Turkey is pretty close to the real thing too..
But veggie bacon tastes EXACTLY the same to me. My meat lover boyfriend even likes the veggie bacon. How do they make it taste like that?
It's because real bacon is heavily seasoned too. It doesn't taste like that straight off the pig. They just use the same or similar spices.  (+ info)

I have my espresso machine for the first time. I love the caramel macchiato of Starbucks. I bought a espresso medium roast with the local brand of a supermarket but it taste like burned. I decided to get the espresso of Starbucks but it also taste the same. What do you think it taste like that? Please help. Thanks.
Does your machine allow the water to boil? This is very important for espresso.

Some prefer filtered water. It helps.

How do you make soaked or sprouted raw almonds taste better?

I don't like the taste of soaked or sprouted raw almonds. They taste, well, too RAW. They have that weird taste I just can't describe, but it's the same one that exists in all soaked nuts and seeds I try. Any tips on making them more palatable? I LOVE the taste of raw almonds before they are soaked though, and prefer the crunch too.

Yes I can - when I'm in America it seems to be mostly Aqua Fina or some other one that I've never heard of and they are both disgusting. Most of the ones you buy in the UK e.g. Evian, Vittel, M&S own brand etc I can't taste any difference but I usually choose Evian over any other.  (+ info)

Im' currently mixing strawberry flavoured whey protein with water but it isn't exactly great tasting. Is there a cheaper way of improving taste without mixing it with things like milk? Thanks!
I like to mix my strawberry protein with oj, fresh strawberries and bananas. I guess the cheapest way would also to make sure your protein is chemical free without any fillers or additives.  (+ info)
