No single axis fits all of those terms. Axis I would probably be coded for GID, while Axis II would be coded for NPD. The paraphilia would probably go uncoded, but be addressed in the treatment of GID. Why do people think that a man wearing high heels is gay or wants to be a woman?

This question is ONLY dealing with men wearing ONLY high heel shoes. Not transvestism or transexualism. ONLY the shoes with 'masculine' clothing otherwise...So why do so many people think that a man who wears heels is any less of a man? Or gay? Or wants to be a woman? Or wants to appear as a woman? Why can't a man simply want to wear heels and go through life that way? So why do YOU think a man must be gay, wants to be seen as or treated as a woman or maybe even become a woman if he's wearing high heels? Please help me understand the correlation between a pair of shoes and someone's sexual orientation. Again, I'm not asking about if the person is dressing completely as a woman. That's a different story. But in men's clothes wearing high heels, what's the big deal?

Why should women have all the choice? This isn't about cross dressing or transvestism. Girls can now wear ANYTHING they want. Why can't the Guys have the same choice ? Some guys do look dreadful in their idea of girlie dressing up, but what's your general view on "Men in Skirts".

Hi, I am a straight male who has cross dressed his whole life. I really want to come out but am hopeless when it comes to clothes and make up. I am fed up dressing behind closed doors. I have tried dressing services but they are too expensive and I've had advice from other TV's but they all seem to veer towards the kinky side of transvestism. I just want help to bring out the girl inside. It's heartbreaking not being able to express yourself honestly. I want to appear and act as naturally feminine as possible when I come out and I just want a female friend(s) who is open minded enough to help me learn to become the girl that I know I can be. Please understand this is not a sexual thing. I don't want to wear fishnets, black leather mini's, stilleto's and a thong. I'm happy in trousers, flat shoes and big knickers. I am realistic about what I can achieve but I have respect for myself and want to be the best I can be. I know this is a lot to ask but I am genuine, please help

hi, well, first things first, your style of clothes will depend on your frame, how you're built, what are your legs like, also what time of day you go out, where you go etc.
your make up will also depend on some of the above, try not to pluck your eyebrows if they don't need it (all this is difficult without seeing what you look like) for daytime general make up try neutral tones which accent your features, don't go over the top.
but if you've been doing this for a while, then you should have some idea about what style of woman you want to be and portray (hint, we do this all the time, we change our styles to suit the image we want to portray)
as regards shopping, have you tried going shopping and buying clothes on the pretext of buying a gift for a female friend or family member, that way you could make your purchases and try them on in your own home to see if they suit you?
