Need comments on this babby boy name: Bovine Estrus?

Bovine was the first name of a beloved uncle, and Estrus was the maiden name of his maternal grandmother (to whom he was very close). These are traditional Irish Gaelic names and are quite common in rural southwest Ireland.
Husband wants to call him Bo for short.
----------

Bovine is also the name for Cow.
If you live in southwest Ireland then go ahead and use the name, but if you live in the U.S. I would say no.
You're son will be teased all his life, beloved uncle or not.  (+ info)

please help my dr. says i have bovine spongiform encephalopathy?

but cant explain it until my appt in 3 weeks. does anyone know?
----------

If you really have that (= Mad cow disease) I can't believe your dr. sent you home for 3 weeks without at least some support. Are you sure you got this right?

Humans can get this from eating infected beef, but it's not easy to diagnose. You need at least some hospital tests.   (+ info)

I heard that you could catch tuberculosis from consuming the milk product of an infected cow. How true is that? Is it possible enough that I should consider going back to being vegan?
----------

i didn't think it was possible so went into google under 'bovine tu...' and discovered that in the past is was quite possible however in this day and age with pasteurization it is not possible therefore consuming milk is okay however if you want to go back to being a vegan don't do it for this reason but because you want to.  (+ info)

fast fact and stats on mad cow disease other wise known as bovine spongiform encephalopathy?

i need facts on what it has done and how to prevent it!!!
anything you know!!!!!!
----------

Here is the U.S. it is illegal to feed ruminant products to other ruminants. That is what causes it, in a nutshell. (Sometimes cows are fed blood meal because it's a good rumen by-pass protein, also some feeds contain animal source protein. It must come from pig, etc, not other cows).
That is why we no longer have cases of BSE in our native cows. It is very easy to prevent. It cannot be treated. It cannot be tested for in live animals because they need the brain for the test. It is not contagious or infectious.  (+ info)

Is it true that BLV [Bovine leukemia virus] is present in cow's milk and can infect us?

Just heard from a source that BLVs are present in cows and get transmitted through their milk and it can affect humans...

No, it cannot infect humans. This is a very rare disease of cows. Nothing to worry about.  (+ info)

Would you like an glass of ice cold Bovine lactic fluid with you chocolate chip cookies?

Only if it's moo cow f*ck milk, like when I was a kid. No 2%, no 1%, no fat free. Moo cow f*ck milk or nothing.

And certainly, no soy milk. There is no such thing as soy milk. Do you know how I know? Because there is no soy TITTY. It's not soy milk, it's soy juice. The reason they don't call it soy juice is because you can't SAY it without gagging.  (+ info)
