This is done mostly in Africa and involves cutting the clitoral hood and the labia. It almost never involves cutting out the clitoris, although there is an extreme from of FGM that involves removing part of the clitoris.
Even the normal FGM with clitoral hood and labia cutting sounds horrific, particularly done to a a child, but keep in mind this involves less erogenous tissue than MGM (male circumcision) practiced in the USA. The parts cut off the male with circumcision include many more pleasure giving nerve endings. All GM should be stopped.

If a female or male has genital warts, would the warts shrink when they bathe?
A girl told me that she has genital warts and when she bathes, the warts shrink, then they go back to normal size after a few hours. I don't understand why the warts would shrink because it shouldn't go through any physical change. If that is true then that is interesting.

Genital warts can go away, but if a female has had them, it is never good to give vaginal birth. GW can come back at any time, and sometimes labor can bring them back. If they come into contact with the baby's skin, it can harm or blind the child.

Female genital waxing: how to prevent irritation?
At her request (and my preference, I confess), I wax my girl friend's genitalia. We use a hard wax, apply in the direction of the hair growth, press the muslin firmly to the wax, and pull back (not up) sharply. We get great results if you measure success in per cent hair removed.
My question is how to prevent severe irritation when waxing immediately next to her labia. The skin gets very red and somewhat swollen. What techniques or products will reduce this irritation?

I use moisturising cream after I get waxed in that area. It seems to work fine for me. But bear in mind that the more you wax, the less irritation you will get over time. (

Protection for oral-genital sex on a female?
I have tried cling wrap which irritates me, a cut open condom which surface area is too small, and dental dams. The only place to buy dental dams in my area is the sex shop. They only come in flavoured varieties which irritate me, plus they are very expensive.
What should I do?
