I have a grandson with Tuberous Sclerosis. I would love to hear from anyone who has it, or has a child with it, to find out how you cope with the disability.

My daughter may have Tuberous Sclerosis! I know what it is I am just so scared!?
If someone is going through this please any information will help us. I am in contact with the TSC Foundation, but I would like to hear from a real situation such as mine. She may not have this! HOPEFULLY! But the symptoms (more than 4) are there.

Is there any new research work over Tuberous Sclerosis,a kind of Epilepsy?
Sorry, you just missed the 2006 National TSC Conference held in Bloomington Illinois. It ends at Noon on Sunday, July 16th. The last session, 10:15 - noon CDT,is a research update.
I was there as an exhibitor, volunteering for The Rothsburg Institute, a nonprofit research institute dedicated to finding a cure for Tuberous Sclerosis.

For the record, Tuberous Sclerosis is not just a heart disease.
It is a genetic disorder that can cause benign tumors ("tubers") to grow in the heart, lungs, skin, brain, and eyes. It has considerable variance in symptoms and progression.
I don't have it myself, I have been a volunteer for Community TSC, a project to use computers to find a cure for TSC. The project recently ended, so my computers are now working on a cure for childhood cancer.

sorry I don't have more as it sounds like an awful disorder..if it is a nerve disorder the incurables has cured people with Lou gehrings, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, myastheia gravis etc..if it is a nerve disorder also take nutrtional yeast and B vitamons (not in pill form but in food form like the yeast ansd schulze's superfood. and the nerve restore formula (in his save your life manual..do the wake up the nerve herbs like coffee. oats in the milky stage. and so forth..if it is similar to these nervous disorders listed not the calming down the nerves ones lie kavakava..sorry I do not have the formula with me but if you decide you want it email me. and I will look it up..
