Does anubody now how surgeans remove multiple uterine fibromas with laser?

Can anybody recommend a good doctor in Vero Beach Florida?
----------

Lasers can act like a knife as well which would cut out the fibroma.

What is a Uterine Infection and how would you get it?

My mom has been feeling pretty bad for the past few days so she went to the doctor thinking she had a bladder infection. The test came back negative so she went in again today and they told her she may have an infection in her uterus.

The antibiotics she is taking are making her feel horrible, and she was crying when she picked me up from school because she felt so bad.

I googled "uterine infection" and no real information came up. What exactly is it and how would you get it?
----------

The vaginal area has been likened to having a house with no front door; it's open all the time

Any kind of infection could have gotten in there, whether transmittes sexually, or just common run-ins with things (bacterial, even an irritant like soap)  (+ info)

Can you have a baby after you have a uterine ablation?

I had an uterine ablation when I was 19 years old. I want to have a baby not but my doctor doesn't think my cervix lining is strong enough to hold a baby. I am going to find out next wednesday. But any information that is known would be great. I am 26 now and I really want to have a baby.
----------

Probably not, but before performing a procedure that was going to render you infertile they should have discussed this with you at great length until you understood you probably wouldn't be able to conceive. I'm shocked this wasn't discussed.

The only way would be if there's some patchy areas that were untouched by the procedure. An embryo may be able to implant there. Anything is possible, but it's not likely.

If you find out Wednesday that you can't conceive you can still have biological babies using your eggs and a surrogate mother.

Good luck.  (+ info)

Can you damage your uterine lining while having sex?

After or during sex i sometimes bleed and i was wondering if my uterine wall could be scratched, is there a possiblity that your lining can be scratched and start to bleed?
----------

No. The penis is no where near the uterus.
If the sex was rough or not well lubricated, there could be small vaginal tearing, which could cause the bleeding.  (+ info)

Is there a better alternative to uterine ablation?

My doctor is starting to talk about uterine ablation for me because of my prolonged period, and hormone therapy has not helped. I just did some research and learned that it's contraindicated for a woman like myself who still wants to have children. Is there an alternative that will allow me to have children in the future?
----------

i would ask him if there's something else you can do. i think there must be. sometimes doctor refuse to give you other options, like my old dermatologist who wouldn't give me the medication i needed to cure my acne. if they won't answer seek another opinion, and if another answer can't be found, you may have to reconsider that there isn't another option, but there are other ways to put children in your life.  (+ info)

Is your period lighter while on the pill because you don't have as much uterine lining to shed?

I have noticed that ever since I've been on the pill, my period is lighter. I cramp just as badly, but then my period is very light. Is it because the pill causes less uterine lining to build up, thus causing less to shed?

If not, why is your period lighter on the pill?
----------

Yes, that's right. When you're on the pill, the uterine lining grows less than it would if you weren't taking the pill. With less build up of the uterine lining, the menstrual flow is lighter. In some women the lining does not grow at all, so no period occurs.  (+ info)
