It amazes me how little effort some people put into their school work. In medicine there are not always easy, "pat" answers to questions. You have to dig for them. Links below to help you find the answer to your question. I am not poring through documents to find it. You need to do the work yourself. Links to WebMD, NIH, and CureResearch.com that give you the answer. Do some work and figure it out.  (+ info)

where is the chromosome location? INheritance patter and the type of mutation
----------

Here is a site: http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/zellweger/zellweger.htm

Another, quote: The syndrome is caused by mutations (changes) in any of several different genes involved in peroxisome formation. These genes lie on at least two different chromosome locations including chromosome 2 (region 2p15) and chromosome 7 (region 7q21-q22).

I couldn't really find anything on the pattern of inheritance.

I'm sorry, I hope you are doing school work and not searching for a personal reason.  (+ info)

Have you heard of Zellweger ('s) Syndrome? Have you met any people whose babies were born with it?

I have been listening to a week-long series on the radio about this.

The info is here--- www.familylife.com

The broadcasts are from Dec. 18-22. You'll find them.
There is an interview (two days long), and a

book by this same person--Nancy Guthrie--

whose daughter was born with this ailment.

Her son too. Both of them died.

See the book and the other interview here:
