What’s the difference between cracking my fingers and my back? Is one worse for me than the other?

I think when you crack your fingers it's moving synovial fluid around but I'm not positive. Help?
----------

Yes your correct. Cracking you fingers is just fluid moving from one spot to another in your finger. A lot of people think it's your bone cracking but this isn't true. It isn't bad for you at all to crack your fingers.

Cracking your back on the other hand could be either good or bad.. sometimes you might tweek something and make it sore or crack it and relive pressure...  (+ info)

A thickening and tenderness of the synovial membrane and the accumulation of synovial fluid are sign of the de

Accumulation of synovial fluid can be a sign of inflammation and/or infection or bleeding. The diagnosis is dependent on the composition of the accumulated synovial fluid.

There's a million different things it could be a "sign of." Wikipedia has a good summary of what the different compositions of synovial fluid could mean as there could be many, many possibilities based on what the fluid looks like under a microscope, and you can research possible conditions from there.

When i perform a patella tap on my knee my patella bone bounces, what does this mean?

It also moves without pushing the synovial fluid out of its pouch. However, it is not painful?
----------

It still may be that you have excess fluid behind it, just not enough to be able to see it displaced. Is it swollen at all? It could also be that you have lengthy or loose tendons and ligaments holding it in position. Even though it isn't painful, you should probably schedule an appointment with an orthopedist to insure nothing is wrong that may give you problems down the road.

Good luck...

For someone in college, your spelling is atrocious. I don't understand what you mean by this question. "What are the long- & short-term effect of bones & synovial joints?" What do you mean by long- and short-term effects???? Bones and synovial joints aren't a disease or condition. Can you rephrase this?  (+ info)

My Synovial fluid analysis report has no infecting, but my WBC is 29,000 from my knee after my operation.?

It's been 3 months.What could it be?
----------

An infection could have easily wandered from your knee to the rest of your body.
Also maybe even a spinal tap could be done to rule out CSF infection.
You have an infection somewhere - they need to find out where.  (+ info)
