I have a report for heath class and I want to know the difference between Testicular cancer lumps and epidermal cysts lumps. I need to know like stuff like color, size and location? and what cause epidermal cysts? so what is the difference between them?

Cancer can spread to other parts of your body and if left untreated can kill you. Epidermal cysts lumps cannot. Unless the doctor showed it to you after surgery you would never know the color and I can’t see how this would matter.  (+ info)

What can I do to prevent cysts on my legs and why are they appearing?

Years ago I started to raised bumps on my legs. My doctor removed one and had it tested. It came back non-cancerous and he said it is a cysts. I have since received 4 more and my new doctor attempted to burn 2 off, but they did not disappear and are now raised and red with a puckered scar from the burn. I now have a new one. The newest doctor said it was likely from shaving with my razor and he won't attempt to take anymore off. The are so ugly and red and I do not want to wear shorts. What can I do to get rid of them and how can I prevent more from occuring?

I recently underwent gland removal looking for cancer in my lymphatic system while doing Mir scans and ct scans they found a number of cyst in my liver the surgeon told me not to worry they would keep a check on them once a year by ct scan. What are LIVER CYSTS?

The eye doctor said just to leave them alone, they wont interfer with my vision. Unfortunately the cysts itch when I go out in the sun - even with sunscreen on or when I get heated up from exercising and my hair snags the wart sometimes and makes the skin around it sore so I want to get rid of them

I have two ovarian cysts and they are not cancerous. They cause allot of pain and often burst, making me feel sick. If I got them removed through surgery would it scar my ovary and make me unable to have kids later in life?

Would an ultrasound always show ovarian cysts if they are there?

I don't mean to say that cysts might not show because they're so tiny, but rather, is it possible that they might not show due to some sort of physical positioning of one's anatomy? Sort of like when a woman is pregnant and if the baby moves, they can't always pick up the heartbeat with the fetal monitor? Is it possible that the cysts could be sitting in such a way that the ultrasound doesn't pick them up?
If the ovaries could be seen on the ultrasound, we would be able to see if there were cysts on them. As you know, cysts are fluid filled sacs, and ultrasound images any fluid filled structure very well. For example, the urinary bladder is seen very well when it is full of fluid (urine). A fetal stomach is easily seen on ultrasound, due to the amniotic fluid the baby swallows. Really, the only way ovarian cysts would be missed with ultrasound is when the ovary is not visualized at all. This can happen if the patient is obese, the bladder is not full enough on transabdominal scanning, or the patient is "gassy", as ultrasound cannot see through air.  (+ info)

I have two ovarian cysts on my left ovary that were at 6X6X4 and 5X5X4 (in centimeters) in size end of January. I suspect they are growing because my pain is now radiating to my thighs and back. Is it normal for my kidney to hurt?
