Please help me find a website that explains quadriplegia and easy to understand?

I am having a hard time understanding most of the websites I have visited because I have never really looked into quadriplegia. They are using many terms I have never heard of. So does anyone know of some websites that explain it a lot easier than these other websites?

What therapeutic regimen should we try now?

Eighteen year old Cerebral Palsy patient with spastic quadriplegia. Has had all forms of therapy. Non-ambulatory.
Looking for a new physical and occupational therapy regimen that won't be depressing or too time intensive. Have tried the following: Hyperbaric Oxygen (mild) dives x44, stretching, manipulation). Serious replies only.
----------

I've read that some treatments for spastic CP include Botox treatments to loosen the muscles with some successes. This is treatment that has not been highly touted because the success is very individual. My daughter has CP, she is ambulatory and I've had success going through Shriner's hospitals. Don't know if you live in the US but they do serve children worldwide. Therapies for children with CP are time consuming and unfortunately are necessary in order to keep the muscles limber and to prevent both atrophy and contractures. I wish there were a better way but a consultation at a Shriner's hospital is your best bet. Good luck in your endeavors.  (+ info)
