What causes ovarian cysts to rupture?

I know what causes ovarian cysts, but I'd really like to know what causes them to rupture or burst? I've been in the ER twice because I've had one rupture on both of my ovaries, one in March and one earlier this week. Could it be stress?

Like if you have Mono and your spleen is enlarged,you get hit in stomach,it ruptures and youre rushed to ER what is your chance of surviving?
I had a splenic artery anyeresum and the doctor told me I had to have it out immediately because left alone if it burst you'd bleed to death rather quickly. Letting a swollen spleen go could cost you your life....people die on the table before the doctor can even get them open in time so don't mess with it.

Is it possible for the knee ligaments to rupture due to medication for a different condition?

My mother had a hysterectomy that went horribly wrong and underwent 4 more surgical procedures to correct the damage. She was given some medication - she can't remember what - and later experienced extremely painful knees. After an ex-ray she was informed that her knee ligaments were ruptured due to this medication - it was probably some strong antibiotics, steroids or hormone treatment. Is it possible that this is the case and if so how can she relive the pain she experiences during the night?
It is possible that a medication might damage the ligament in the knee but unless we know for sure what medication she was on it would be hard to tell you for sure

Who told you that it was the medication that weakened her ligaments? was it the Xray technician?

How can it be confirmed if there is a partial rupture to the esophagus?

If someone has a reason to believe that their esophagus is partially ruptured and they are experiencing some of the symptoms, how is the possibility confirmed. Basically what test would a doctor have to do?
well babygurl they had me drink some thick white chalky stuff and wait for 20 or so minutes then had me drink some fizzy stuff and done a ultra sound type of deal then they might do the scope thing where they run a camera like thing down your throat its long and slender but they done an ultra sound thing on me  (+ info)

How many miscarriages or spontaneous abortions can a woman have in their life?

I've had several miscarriages before that has made me scared of getting pregnant now. Just can't bear to have another yet.
What about deliberate abortions? How many times can you do it?
I've never tried that, but I've heard of a woman who aborted 9 of her 12 pregnancies, so she only have 3 kids now.
I think you can have any amount of miscarriages/spontaneous abortions but I have heard you can only have so many surgical abortions before you can't even get pregnant.

I have also had several miscarriages in the past and was weary of trying again after so many but I got thoroughly checked out for any physical reasons for the miscarriages. And started taking folic acid before I started trying again.

Then when I got pregnant I rested all I could, avoided anything too strenuous and took the day off work if I was feeling even a little under the weather. I'm 14 weeks now and sure it's going to work this time.

What are some causes of spontaneous and chronic nose bleeds ?

My boyfriend has chronic nose bleeds that seem to happen every few days, or every couple weeks. He says that he's had them since he was a kid. He has lowish blood pressure, drinks lots of water, doesn't snort coke, and is otherwise very healthy..

Today his nose started to bleed spontaneously and he blew a snot-rocket in the toilet, filling the whole toilet with blood. He lost so much that he felt dizzy!

We've been together for 5 years, and I've noticed that they are becoming more frequent in the past six months.

Any ideas?
Does he have allergies- any nasal itching, watery nose, congestion, water eyes, scratchy eyes, itchy skin? Allergies can cause spontaneous nose bleeds. A dry nose can also do it but the last 6mo is allergy season so I would say that might be your best bet. One way to take care of this would be for him to mix his own nasal spray its more effective and cheaper than going to the store to buy some. You mix 1/2teasp of salt with 8oz of warm water and mix. Then use a bulb syringe to squirt it into eash nostrile. This needs to be done 2-4x a day. I do it 2x a day. My nose bleeds have stopped almost completely. It moistureses the nasal passages and rids the nose of allergens and dirt. Needs to be done all the time.  (+ info)

This is totally normal and healthy Man and the last thing that u want to do is stop it.

Nature plays a little trick in that while your penis is growing, you get testosterone spikes that cause spontaneous erections. You don't even need to be thinking about anything, and up it comes ...in just seconds! Haha!

The purpose of those by nature isn't to embarrass you, but rather so that the new growth in added and expanded hollow bodies of the penis can get filled out to max size to make for full str8 and even growth. If you wear briefs or tight underwear, that can't happen, and you end up with a curve in your gear. Switch to boxer shorts until you are done growing those parts. If you do this, the curve will straighten out and you will be at your best.

If you get a spontaneous erection in boxer shorts, it's easy to reach in, discretely and move your hard on up under the waste band of the shorts toward your belly button where no one will notice your condition and it will go back to resting later. Don't get ones with a really tight waste band, because, remember you want your pride and joy to be comfortable under that band.
