My good friend was just diagnosed with this. I want to know more about the disease and how to treat it.

Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia (WM) is a blood cancer that usually affects men over the age of 65. It is a rare disease: only five out of every 100,000 people over the age of fifty develop the disease. WM is an indolent cancer, meaning that the disease progresses slowly with few or no symptoms in the early stages of the illness.

A wide range of generalized symptoms may occur. These include:

bleeding gums
blurred vision
bruising
dizziness
fatigue
headaches
increased infection rates
nose bleeds
numbness in extremities
pain in fingers and toes when cold
partial, temporary paralysis
skin rashes
unexplained weight loss

No it is no contagious...it is a rare chronic cancer in which plasma cells multiply out of control.

I am very much against abortion. However, embryonic stem cell research is NOT abortion. Those embryos will NEVER become a human. They will be disposed of anyways.

Scientifically, embryonic stem cells are easier to work with in research than adult stem cells.

I am familar with many treatments with adult stem cells and, I am quite skeptical of most of your list. The true list oif approved treatments is very limited.
