11/17. Cyst of seminal vesicle with ectopic ureter and ipsilateral renal dysplasia: case report.

A case of ectopic ureter in a cystic seminal vesicle associated to a microkidney is presented. The diagnosis was established by history, physical examination, CT and direct contrastography by perineal access. 12/17. MR imaging of seminal vesicle cysts associated with adult polycystic kidney disease.

An unusual case of seminal vesicle cysts associated with adult polycystic kidney disease (APKD) is presented. The magnetic resonance (MR) appearance of this rare entity has not been described before. A brief review of the literature is included and the role of MR imaging is discussed.

13/17. Surgical treatment of bilateral large seminal vesicle cysts associated with unilateral renoureteral agenesis.

A 26-year-old man presented bilateral cysts of the vesicles, larger on the right side, associated with agenesis of right kidney and ureter. Surgical treatment consisted of removal of the right cyst and volume reduction of the left one. The embryological aspects are discussed, together with the clinical findings and the treatment options.

14/17. Hydatid cysts of the kidney, seminal vesicle and gluteus muscle.

Hydatid disease has a high incidence in turkey and causes significant complications. A case is reported here of unusual localization of hydatidosis, with involvement of hydatid cysts of the seminal vesicle, kidney and gluteus muscle. A review of the literature is also included.

15/17. Ectopic adrenal tissue in the spermatic cord. Case report and review of the literature.

Ectopic adrenal tissue is a not uncommon clinical finding, especially in children. These aberrant rests have been reported in various locations, such as kidney, testis and related structures, female genital tract and supradiaphragmatic region. The most common site in the male genital district is the spermatic cord. We report a case of ectopic adrenal in the spermatic cord, occasionally found in an asymptomatic 42-years-old man. No other pathologic condition of urogenital tract was present. The nodule measured 0.5 cm in diameter and was histologically arranged in three well defined layers, with predominance of the zona fasciculata. No adrenal medullary tissue was observed. The pathogenesis of this ectopic tissue near the testis can be explained by the embryologic relationship between adrenal cortex and the gonad. Finally, we reviewed the relevant literature and the main clinical implications of this condition.

16/17. Sonographic diagnosis of seminal vesicle cysts in autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease.

Multiple, bilateral seminal vesicle cysts were found in a young man by transabdominal sonography. Examination of the kidneys disclosed previously unknown autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease. This case report draws attention to the rare association between these 2 conditions.

17/17. TRUS, CT and MRI findings of hydatid disease of seminal vesicles.

Hydatid disease of the urogenital system, especially seminal vesicles and prostate, or retroperitoneum is a very rare condition. Secondary dissemination of seminal vesicles has not been described before. We describe the transrectal ultrasonography (TRUS), CT and MRI findings of a secondary solitary hydatid cyst of the left seminal vesicle, in a patient with disseminated hydatid disease involving all abdominal organs except for right kidney. We obtained typical findings of hydatid cyst at all modalities.
