Post by drnizam72 »

My father just admitted to a again hospital on 27 April 2010 due to very weak after 2 days discharged from underwent ballon angioplasty and coronary stent inplantation.
Haemoglobin 4.6, Blood Pressure 49/25. After blood tranfussion, Hb 10.6 and BP 135/85. But my father still unconscious where the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) was 6. The doctor diagnosis were cardiogenic shock and severe anaemia. Could you explain to me why my father still unconscious eventhough the BP looks normal to me and the Hb not to low. Can my father survive and back to normal. For your information he also suspected to have Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease - Emphysema. Thank you.
