Severe Acne Vulgaris Help?
I have severe acne vulgaris on my upper back/shoulders. I have had it since I was 15, I am now 30.
In the past few months it has begun to spread to my chest : ( and it is starting to emotionally and psychlogically break me not only as a man, but as a husband and a Daddy.
I remain strong all the time and preach inner strength to my girls, but I NEVER once have gone swimming with them, or even allwed them to see without my shirt on. : ( This is a shameful pain I wish for nobody.
Can somebody please offer me some advice on what I can do to stop this, and even one step further, to help the appearance of the guaranteed scarring.
Product information, services information, or general tips/advice is extremely and highly appreciated.
What drug products do you recommend, either advertised or not. I heard about Minocin before, but is there anything better?
Thank you greatly.

What shall i do?i am sick of doctors,
Ask them to give you more serious treatment with pills...
The best are Minocine 50 or 100 mg dosage depends on your condition and Better is Reocutane 20 or 40 mg.
Ask your dermatologist if you have any other pills of the same kind.
In general Minocine and Reocutane pills are antibiotics Minocine is mild one and Reocutane 40mg is the stronger with some small side effects ...
But you have to get over them because Acne is much worse... (+ info
Genital acne vulgaris my doctor says I have this...?
White zits on scrotum I was was tested for STD and didn't have on which I knew because I've never had sex but does anyone know why you get this?
the genitalia has a lot of oil glands. The oil glans can get clogged up just like on your face or back especially in puberty and young adulthood when your hormones are going crazy. Wash daily with soap and water and use the presciption the doctor gave you. (+ info
How did you get rid of your acne? How old were you?
I am almost 20 years old and I am so fed up with this acne. I've had it since i was 13 and it won't go away. It's a combination of blackheads, whiteheads, papules and pustules. Just everything, I think it's called acne vulgaris. Im not hoping for 100 percent clear skin but its like no matter what i do, it's all there!
So what worked for you?
oh and I have tried going to the derm. Retin-A and antibiotics seems to help a little but not very much.
I know that acne is misery. Beware of using any products for acne unless they have been prescribed or recommended by your doctor. Often antibiotics are needed to treat acne, so you should see a doctor about it again. Discuss what has worked and what hasn't worked. There are a number of medications that can be tried.
People make all kinds of suggestions about the best thing to do to cure acne. Some cures I’ve heard include putting oatmeal, honey, lemon juice, tea tree oil, cucumber, vinegar, milk of magnesia or toothpaste on your face. Practically every cosmetics company and company that makes personal care products makes something that is a “sure cure” for acne. If we think about this, and use some common sense, we have to come to the conclusion that there is no quick or easy cure for acne, because if there was it would be well known and doctors would be telling everyone about it.
Numerous companies make a lot of money persuading people to buy products that at worst will make the acne worse, and at best may help some people a little. Often fewer products are better. People often make their acne much worse by using too many products. There really is no quick fix for acne. Don’t spend a lot of money on products just because their ads say that they will cure acne. Your doctor is the best person to ask for help, and he or she may recommend some prescription medication or non-prescription treatment that may be suitable for you..
There are some very simple and basic things you can do that cost nothing. Keep your face or any other area affected by acne very clean. Any mild antibacterial soap will help with that. Rinse the area well to remove all soap residue. Drink plenty of water – it really does help to clear up acne. Eat a nutritious diet and get enough sleep. A healthy life style will make a difference. Try to reduce the stress in your life – stress contributes to acne, so also probably the more you worry about the acne and focus on it, the worse it will be.
Probably the most useful and effective things you can do are to apply hot compresses to pustules and cysts and never to pick or squeeze pimples. Playing with or popping pimples, no matter how careful and clean you are, nearly always makes bumps stay redder and bumpier longer.

Can you please help with my Skincare Project?(Broken Capillaries, Pigmentation, Acne Vulgaris &Rosacea)?
Hi!I am currently doing a Beauty Specialist Course and for my 1st project I need to find and Salon, Medical, Alternative, Dietary or Herbal etc treatments for all the above conditions. There isn't much on the net especially for Pigmentation. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Look up cosmetic laser treatments on the net. There are a variety of different laser treatments for the skin problems you have listed. Dependent on the type of laser it would be classed as either salon or medical. Also try looking up microdermabrasion. There's a book called "Away With Wrinkles" which is a good source of information (look it up on Amazon). Good luck with your project! (+ info
Sudden severe acne vulgaris problem ^^ help?
First, I know there are a ton of questions like these.
In the wake of a ton of finals, I've only just been going back to the gym, and my acne has gotten out of hand, probably from all the stress. Fine, a few spots can be covered on the face. But my back looks horrendous, it looks like a purple mine field, and I'm not sure what to do...I'm going to be in the water, a lot, with other people, and a swimsuit is definitely NOT in order. What can I wear to be inconspicuous and simultaneously decent looking?
My dermatologist says my neck acne is not keloidalis nuchae (folliculitis) - that it is all acne vulgaris?
I don't believe him. First one said it's rosacea...that was a year ago and like $200 worth of medications (even with my insurance paying for most of it - $200 was my copay!)...I stopped that right away...I know my neck acne has to be folliculitis, it is big nodules and small little bumps that I pick at constantly and form scabs and dry up, then I pick them again and they bleed...they're not pus-filled... any ideas? This money-monger new schmuck won't admit it's folliculitis - lemme email u a pic of it please someone... I just want to know!
If they are situated over occiput/upper part of the neck on the back side then 100% acne keloidalis.Isotretinoin(Roaccutane) is the ideal drug of choice. (+ info

Please help...Acne Vulgaris from last 3 yrs.....on shoulders n back.....?
I am an Esthetician, so my reccomendation to you is to get back facials. It will clear your pores. They will put a really good treatment on your skin, and do some much needed extractions. You might have to change your shampoo. It may be clogging your pores on your back. Also, try getting an exfoliating scrub that you can use on your back 2-3 times a week. Dermalogica has some great products for acne. Check out their website. (+ info
