I'm currently 18 years old and I'm around 5'11 or 6'0. My body weight is 250-260lbs, and I can't figure out what my weight should actually be at. Can someone help, please?

If you're looking to lose weight, I suggest this routine (which I just posted awhile ago) which helped my brother tone up for his many sport activities.
- wake up at 7 am
- eat fruit for breakfast
- lift weights (just little dumbells)
- go bicycling
- eat a TLC sandwich for lunch (that's tomato lettuce cheese between 2 slices of whole-wheat bread)
- go swim laps
- eat a salad (lots of vegetables and fruits plus fish and olive oil) for dinner

For people in the 5' range, you multiply the feet by 5. Therefore, at 5'9", you should weigh about 140lbs. But you didn't say how old you are which is really important to know since age plays a big factor. The weight range for you is (about) : 130 - 150lbs. You're just ALITTLE bit under. (+ info

How do weight scales with body fat percentage calculation work?
Hello, I am in a competetion where the total of weight percentage loss and fat percentage loss determines the winner. Besides diet and exercise, is there anything specific I can do on the final days of the competetion to squeeze out an extra 0.5% in body fat percentage by tricking the scale?
For example, if I drink a gallon of water before the weigh-in that will add pounds but could it decrease body fat percentage? The scale for body fat % is measured in increments by 0.5%, so just a slight variation can cause it to go from 10.0 to 9.5% for example. That small of a difference can be huge on the final tally.
Most of the body fat scales I've seen use electrical impedance to measure body content. I don't know how to fool the scale, but the water theory sounds like it could work. Only thing is that if you push it too much, you risk water toxicity. (+ info

depends on what kind of a lift :) and if you are using proper tehnique or if you are doing a bench press with 4 buddies pulling the bar up :) 2x is impressive for just about any lift (very very impressive for some) 1x to 2x is about where most well trained people fall. to get above that it's either one specific lift (like dead lift) or you are an elite lifter. You can't monitor a mental health issue with weight, she needs to see a professional.
There are women who have a condition of not being able to gain weight and they eat all they want. There are several other conditions that make it difficult for a woman to gain weight, so weight alone is not an indicator of such a serious illness. Some women can have an average weight for their height, but be bulimic (throw up their food) because it doesn't always make you lose weight if you vomit. (+ info

I'm Asian (chinese to be precise), 16. I have absolutely no idea on which exerciese i should start out with, so any help regarding body-weight exercises would be greatly appreciated. (sets and reps, times per week, cardio, any other stuff.)

After you can do high rep sets of bodyweight exercises, then you should start lifting weights. These are rough estimates but I would say wait at least until you can do at least 40 push-ups and 15 pull-ups, before switching over to doing weights.

Since it is body weight, do as many as you can, and work on improving the number of repetitions each week. What I would do is 3-5 sets of as many repetitions as you can with around a minute of rest in between sets.
Of course there are many variations on the exercises (hindu squats, burpees, different types of push-ups overhand underhand pull-up grip) and training routines (such as pyramids) that you can try as well.

How can i lose body fat percentage without losing weight?
I am 14 years old, 117 pounds, and at 31% body fat (according to an online calculator [navy formula]). I don't feel very healthy at this level and I know that I cannot eat many calories without gaining weight. I try to consume 1200 calories a day and burn off 200 by running. I don't think I'm getting enough vitamins each day but I'm afraid that if I eat more I'll gain body fat. What can I do to increase muscle mass and decrease my body fat percentage?
Online calculators are not a very good indication of body fat. Visit a doctor and ask him to measure it for you. He will do it far more accurately. Building muscle requires you to lift weights. Combining the cardio workout and lifting weights will allow you to gain muscle mass and reduce fat. You can NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER gain muscle mass and lose fat in a healthy way if your diet is not good. Think of it as a triangle in which one side is healthy eating, one side is lifting weights and the other side is cardio. At what weight and/or body fat percentage can I expect to see a somewhat flat stomach?
I'm a 25 y/o male who has gone from 430lbs to a current weight of 235lbs. I bought a body fat calculating scale and it claims that I'm currently at 19% body fat. So is there any window that I could reasonably expect to achieve a semi-flat stomach?
If needed, I'm currently running 8 miles a day, and lifting weights at the local gym every day to every other day.

So I'd say having a flat stomach you can easily get just by being skinny with no muscle, but having a lean stomach with definition you'd be looking at around 12%-14% and 8%-10% for a six pack. (+ info
