Question #1 & 2: It's bad for the dog's health if there's urine or feces in the toilet at the time or if you use chemical cleaners. Otherwise, it's just plain water than you could drink in the event of an emergency (earthquake) that resulted in a water main break.
Queston #3: Dogs don't lick the toilet bowel or seat. They just lap the water. It's unlikely a dog will transmit this sort of thing. A dog's mouth is cleaner than a human's. I'd be more concerned about your dog picking something up from your friend. (

hey, just got bitten by a dog. its reasonably deep, is there any diseases or infections im likely to get? do i need to prevent anything?

From the dog biting you- Rabies is the only real issue you've got to worry about.
From the opening in your skin- That's your big problem. Every single type of infection is possible. Dermatitis, blood poisoning, gangrene, etc are possible, though widely ranged in probability.
Get medical treatment. Contact the authorities. The dog's owner should be on the hook for *at least* your medical expenses, unless the dog bite was somehow your fault.... (

Do i need to worry about diseases from a dog bite?
I know that rabies can be infected but are there other viruses or disease that can transfer to a human from a dog bite?
For example if a dog who has all disease a dog can get EXEMPT Rabies then he bites a person with the person bleed a little, can he transfer anything to him?
Because theirs something wrong with my dog he is throwing up and the vets don't know whats wrong then i was giving him pills and his teeth hit my finger and it bleed a little.( I wash it right after)

If your dog is up to date with his s hots and is otherwise healthy. Its probably fine. Most human and dog diseases don't spread back and from different species.
But really, if its that simple to make your wife happy, by not wanting the dogs nose up in her 4 months old face, why not just humor her, even if you disagree.
New mother are very protective of their children, its a natural instinct. If something like that gives her a bad feeling or makes her paranoid, just except that and keep the dog from putting his nose on the baby.
I personally wouldn't want a dog rubbing noses with my young baby either. (

Just started eating today after two weeks
Current diet: Chicken

hi wine, my basset was dx w/colitis a few yrs ago. funny thing is, I have Crohn's disease, a type of IBD like UC.
I would give him some chicken broth, steamed rice, freeze some gatoraid in cubes and give it to him if he was throwing up. a few cubes at a time until you are sure he can keep it down. They now have G2 which has less sugar. Boiled turkey, boiled ground beef or boiled chicken can be given in small amts. The vet can give you some anti nausea medication for him too.
Baby food in the form of meat or chicken flavor is ok too. I would ask the vet for booklets on it or an instruction sheet on how to treat flares and what to feed your dog. My vet gave me tons of info to read along with pain medication and a muscle relaxer if he had spasms.
Yes, it is hard to watch your 4 legged child w/fur suffer. I can totally relate to what he is going through. Just be sure to call the vet if anything unusual happens. That is what you pay them for.
