How to naturally cure hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)?

I sweat like crazy every day. Whether it's hot or cold I sweat. It's freaken gross. Does anybody know some natural remedies to minimize the sweat???

Hey

There are different ways that can help you to stop your excessive sweating.
Here are some useful methods to avoid hyperhidrosis:

Avoid Sugar

having high sugar level in the blood produces hyper activity and anxiety that can easily produce excessive stress, and as a result excessive sweating.

Don't drink Alcohol

Drinking Alcohol causes the dilatation of blood vessels that result in an increase in body temperature and therefore excessive sweat.

Don't Eat Spicy Foods:

Spicy foods are similar to alcohol, it makes the heart pumps more blood and therefore the body, to regulate itself produces sweat.

Choose The Right Cloths:

Don't over dress, and in summer or any other hot weather avoid synthetic fibers. Choose breathing fabrics like cotton. This will ventilate your body and void any accumulation of sweat.

Stop That Caffeine:

Caffeine is a stimulant that increases the anxiety. Caffeine could be found in coffee and other soda drinks.

Don't Smoke:

Smoking is also a vessel dilator just like alcohol.

Learn Yoga or Meditation:

One of the most common causes for excessive sweating is stress. To avoid or reduce stress you should learn to control it. The best way to control is by learning meditation or yoga techniques. Mastering those can make a huge impact on your life.

In addition to these tips there are also many products and solutions for excessive sweating like botox, Acupuncture and Hypnosis.
In my opinion and from my experience the problem with many of these solutions is the expensive price and the fact that many of them simply won't work for most of the people.

There are only few recommended products that actually work and can help you to stop the hyperhidrosis in a matter of weeks.

Im going to the doctors for hyperhidrosis. What can I expect?

Will my primary doctor refer me to a specialist and what can I expect to be done at this appointment? I have already tried a few different things that haven't worked. I sweat excessively on my hands and soles of feet. Thanks for your answers!
----------

I had the same exact problem ever since I was 13. I went to my primary doctor 2 years ago and he put me on something called "aluminum chloride". It is basically a liquid you put on your hands and under your arms every night and it shuts down your pores. I've been using it for 2 years and it is GREAT! The more you use it the less you use it. I only have to apply it every month now. I stay dry and its very nice. I use it on my hands too and i have to sleep with rubber gloves on so my hands will sweat and the pores open to let the medicine in. But trust me it works. Don't see a specialist unless it doesn't work for you. He'll know what to do. Good Luck!  (+ info)

Can taking the drug Robinul for hyperhidrosis cause boils on the skin?

I have noticed what looks like cystic acne in sporatic areas on my body within the last couple of days. I take Robinul as needed for excessive sweating and I have been in bed sick recently. They are very sore and very red raised areas on my back, buttock, and even on my scalp. Any feedback?
----------

Boils are not a documented side effect of Robinul. A rash can be an allergic reaction but what you describe does not sound like a rash.

I suggest you contact your doctor to see if the combination of the medication and being in bed might have some sort of corrolation (blocked pores leading to the lesions) or if you have a new issue. Please call your doctor.  (+ info)

Can you take robinul for hyperhidrosis during pregnancy?

I have been taking the generic for Robinul 2mg for hyperhidrosis and it has worked great for me. I recently found out I was pregnant and have not been to my initial exam yet, but one of my major questions I will be asking is if it is safe to take the medication as needed for the condition during pregnancy. So I am just wondering if anyone else out there has any experience or knowledge about this before I speak to my doctor about it?
----------

I will doubt there's anyone here qualified to tell you that. Just call your doc and ask. They should be able to tell you that before your visit.  (+ info)

Has anybody tried Odaban as a treatment for Hyperhidrosis?

I've had this problem for over 4 years now, and I've had enough, I really need to find something that works. Being a teenager is awkward enough, without the added problems that comes with this. I've read reviews on Odaban and they all seem to say how marvelous it is. Is it truly as good as it seems? Does it work? This problem is killing my social life and confidence.
----------

I've been looking into this too. I have excessive facial/scalp sweating. I'd love to see if it works. I think you can only get it online though, not sure. I'll be checking back for answers.  (+ info)

I might have a rare sking condition called hyperhidrosis?

I know it is an endocrine disorder and affects the skin. What can I do to help my symptoms. Is there surgery? Also I wanted to know if an endocrine disorder is connected to an abnormal menstural cycle and how I could fix that.
I meant to say I have severe onset hyperhidrosis which is a skin condition. My hands, feet head and face sweat prolongly with no reason. I just need some advice.
----------

Hyperhidrosis is not rare, it affects around 4-5% of the population, so it's by no means rare. Yes, it very likely is connected. Endocrinology is the study of hormones, and everybody knows that women's hormones go crazy during they're due on. Deodorant is essential for this condition.  (+ info)
