What is keratoderma skin health prblem?

Tell me how keratoderma health problem cant be treated, what is the medication. Is it possible to be cured.
----------

Keratoderma blennorrhagica are skin lesions commonly found on the palms and soles but which may spread to the scrotum scalp and trunk also.

Keratoderma blennorrhagica is commonly seen as an additional feature of Reactive Arthritis (Reiter's Syndrome) in almost 15% of male patients. The appearance is usually of a vesico -pustular waxy lesion with a yellow brown colour. These lesions may join together to form larger crusty plaques with desqaumating edges.

Palmoplantar keratoderma (PPK) is part of a group of disorders of the skin affecting primarily the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. It is characterized by thickening of the palms and the soles of individuals who are affected. The condition may be hereditary, acquired, or part of another disease with PPK as an associated feature.

can cannabis aka marijuana decrease palmoplantar hyperhydrosis sweating problem?

well i am 19 i have palmoplantar hyperhidrosis i sweat from my hands and feet non stop i been living with this since birth everytime my hands or feet stop sweating it feels like heaven no joke!!
well anyways getting back to topic i smoke pot because it seems to decrease my sweat everytime i do. i would like to know if it does this to other people as well ?? or if any one knows of any other good prescription or somethin that would decrease my sweating as well .
----------

There's no perfect solution. Some people can take a pill and they're sweatless while some have to do Botox or even surgery. If we knew of pot being helpful, then there you go too. If I were you I'd go to the doctor and see whats available for you. Maybe you just need prescription antiperspirants or anxiety medications. If those don't work you can try Botox, as I mentioned. People have found a lot of success with it.  (+ info)

What is Plantar Keratoderma in plain English? I've found all the medical stuff, don't understand those sites.

What can cause this and what treatments have you heard of?
----------

It is an overgrowth of scaling on the feet starting with points of compression or friction on the soles of the feet. It can cause spontaneous amputation of the distal phalanges (last joint).

It can be hereditary or acquired. Things like AIDS, psoriasis, dermatitis, fungi, pancreatic problems can cause it.

You would need to see a dermatologist for treatment. There can be debridement of the hard scaly skin & there are a few oral medications that are used to treat it. I also have a feeling that they may use laser treatment for it.  (+ info)

Hi There

Here are some remedies to use to get healed.

Cause
Psoriasis is metabolic in nature and can be triggered by environmental or stressful conditions, poor diet, flu-like conditions, the administration of penicillin, and nutritional deficiencies. Patients with psoriasis are also a higher risk of rheumatoid diseases.

Psoriasis can be caused by food allergies, essential fatty acid deficiencies, low digestive enzyme and hydrochloric acid levels, vitamin B complex deficiencies, emotional stress, illness, drugs (such as beta-blockers, lithium, and chloroquine), poison ivy or oak, skin damage, and several infections, bacterial or viral in origin.

Natural Cures

Aromatherapy: The following essential oils are recommended: bergamot (to help heal skin plaques), lavender (to reduce excessive itching), melissa (for irritated skin), jasmine (for dry sensitive skin), geranium (for dry irritating skin), and sandalwood mysore (for dehydrated, inflamed, and sensitive skin).

Diet: Screen for and eliminate all foods to which you are allergic or sensitive. Eat a varied diet of organic, whole foods, rotating foods as much as possible. Eliminate wheat and wheat products for 1-3 months. Consume seafood high in omega-3 fatty acids, such as wild salmon, sardines, mackerel, herring, and each day, on a rotating basis, take one tablespoon of olive or flaxseed oil, and be sure to drink plenty of pure, filtered water. Organic beef, venison, poultry, garlic, onions, parsley, organic plain yogurt, and sauerkraut are also recommended.

Flower Essences: Rescue Remedy Cream® applied topically can soothe symptoms.

Herbs: Combine equal parts of burdock, sarsaparilla, and cleavers tinctures and take one teaspoon three times a day. Silymarin (milk thistle) is also helpful for psoriasis due to its positive effects on liver function.

Homeopathy: Useful homeopathic remedies include Psorinum, Sulfur, Graphites, Cuprum met., and Arsen alb.

Hydrotherapy: Hydrotherapy is the application of water, ice, steam and hot and cold temperatures to maintain and restore health. Treatments include full body immersion, steam baths, saunas, sitz baths, colonic irrigation and the application of hot and/or cold compresses. Hydrotherapy is effective for treating a wide range of conditions and can easily be used in the home as part of a self-care program. Many Naturopathic Physicians, Physical Therapists and Day Spas use Hydrotherapy as part of treatment. I suggest several at-home hydrotherapy treatments.

Juice Therapy: The following juice combinations can be helpful: apple and carrot; beet, cucumber, and grape; and beet, carrot, burdock, yellowdock and garlic.

Lifestyle: Mild cases of psoriasis may be helped by daily exposure to sunlight. Frequent exercise is also recommended.

Nutritional Supplementation: The following nutrients can be helpful: evening primrose oil, omega-3 essential fatty acids, vitamin A, vitamin B Complex, vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, vitamin C with bioflavonoids, folic acid, lecithin, zinc, and a multimineral supplement. Taking hydrochloric acid (HCL) with each meal can also be of use.

In Europe fumaric acid treatment in the form of fumaric acid tablets, ointment, lotion, and scalp lotions is widely used to reverse symptoms of psoriasis

Topical Treatment: Apply seawater to the affected skin several times daily. Linseed or avocado oil, aloe vera gel, and/or capsaicin cream applied topically can reduce the scaling, thickness, redness, and itching.

Alternative Professional Care
If your symptoms persist despite the above measures, seek the help of a qualified health professional. The following professional care therapies have all been shown to be useful for treating psoriasis: Acupuncture, Biofeedback Training, Bodywork, Chelation Therapy, Detoxification Therapy, Environmental Medicine, Guided Imagery, Hypnotherapy, Light Therapy, Magnetic Field Therapy, Naturopathic Medicine, Orthomolecular Medicine, Osteopathy, Oxygen Therapy, Reflexology, and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

i also need some answers for the persons who are suffering from keratoderma and some doctors who are specialised in this case ..
guys plz tell me the name of the doctor from whom you are taking suggestions ..
plz advise me
----------

Keratoderma is not a specific disorder, but can be seen as an "end product" of numerous other conditions. Many of those ofther conditions are genetic, and as such, there is no cure for it, but rather control. In other cases, the disorder is acquired, and not genetic, and occasionally, if the underlying condition is controlled, the keratoderma can also be gotten rid of. So, without knowing more of your husband's case, you are left with attempting to thin the thick skin down. Typically, things such as high-strength urea or lactic/salicylic acids are used.  (+ info)

Bone lesions...?

I have been dignosed with palmoplantar pustulosis today and have been reading up on it.One of the things i will have to cope with are frequent complications of bone lesions. What are bone lesions.? and how will i know if i have them..?
----------

bone lesions are cyst-type areas in the bone and are detected using x-ray or bone scans. if you get long-term pain in a specific area of bone they will x-ray to make sure there are no lesions as these can make the bone weak, they may operate depending on where, to make the bone stronger.
This is only a rare complication as far as I am aware though  (+ info)

I was in the movie theater a few hours ago with my best friend and it was about midway through the movie and my hand itched and I thought nothing of it so I just scratched and then a few minuted later it tiched more and soon enough it was an itch that was distracting and it seemed the more I itched the warmer my hand got and it started burning and tingliong in the spots it itched and then it recently spread to my right hand from my left and I thought it was a fungus of sorts and I looked it up and it turns out there are a BUUUNCH of people with this same condition, buuuut I can't find a diagnosis OR acure for this. No one seems to know what this is and how to help it! I DO have PH (Palmoplantar Hyerhidrosis) which is abnormal uncontrollable sweating in the palms and pads of the feet and I doubt it's related since I've had it nearly my whole life, but any help would GREEEATLY be appreciated!!!
Also, if this would help, I am only 16
I was not claiming it to be incurable. I was saying that I've searched for one online and I have not found one. I plan on visiting a doctor lol
Now I realize I DO have a rash, so yes, I believe it could be excema

can sperm live in sweat? please read.?

now i have this disease called palmoplantar hyperhydrosis. that means i sweat like hell on my palms. by hell i MEAN hell. basically it would feel like i washed my hands.

so. me and my girlfriend were playing around and i kinda wiped some precum (not cum, just little bits of precum) on my index finger. and i was sweating a LOT. then about 2-3 minutes later. i fingered her ( but with the middle finger).

apparently she forgot her period was coming in the next few days and is freaked out.

so i just wanna know how long sperm can live in that sweat. and if she can get pregnant?
guys remember that this happened today. so we can't take a pregnancy test and her periods coming up in about 3-5 days. i know she isn't pregnant but im asking if she can GET pregnant and if sperm can live in sweat. i know they die quickly in air, especially cuz it was little bits of precum.
