How can I cure my hypersensitivity to mosquito bites?

When I get bit, the bite area usually swells up to be the size of a golf ball to the size of a grapefruit. My latest on is on my knee and swelled up so much I couldn't walk. I have been placed on antibiotics and in the past prednisone.

I don't like to be on medication if I can avoid it, are there any suggestions to how I can curb my hypersensitivity to mosquito bites?

There are a few things you can do.The first thing is begin taking Vitamin C 1,000 mil 2x a day. Then make sure you are getting good fats such as those found in flax oil.Avoid getting bitten by wearing light colored clothing, neem oil and natural bug repellents will also help from the health food store.Consume turmeric, its an natural anti-inflammatory.  (+ info)

Is it cent percent sure that after circumcision the hypersensitivity of my glans will go for ever?

I am suffering from phimosis. Circumcision is the only way. But if my hypersensitivity of glans will not go, I cant wear any dress.

Please answer to the question only.It is urgent. Don't advise me to avoid circumcision.
----------

After circumcision, some guys, especially those who had it done because of phimosis and therefore never really had the head exposed before, will find the glans become extremely sensitive to touch,
However, overtime it will become used to it, from rubbing against things like clothing, and you will no longer feel so sensitive. Just one of those things you might have to put up with while it heals, if you have circumcision.  (+ info)

Are some latex condoms more irritating to the skin than others?

I am allergic to latex, but not severly. Not even close. But i put on a durex extra sensitive and i got a SMALL rash, nothing too bad. Just wondering if other brands might affect the irritation, because before i stop using latex condoms altogether, i want to know that it wasnt just that one brand.

What's the difference between latex fashion and rubber fashion?

I don't know how to say this properly, but in fetish, is latex and rubber the same thing? Are they made differently? is that why they sometimes call it latex catsuit, rubber catsuit, or latex rubber catsuit? is it just b/c they are the same by name, but difference in how it's made?
----------

All the same... latex is rubber, just different people use different words - bit like spandex / lycra. Same thing !  (+ info)

Is cotton the only latex free cloth on the market? What cloth materials do not have latex in them?

My allergy appears to be caused only by contact (I never have respiration problems.) Also, I've been tested for food allergies and was ok - no cross reactions. I only need to know about latex clothing and lingerie. Thanks people.
----------

Orlon, Nylon, Egyptian Cotton, Linen and silk come to mind for OK fabrics. But, you'll have to be careful that bras and panties don't have latex elastic, socks, too--if you're a gal.  (+ info)

What is the best latex or character makeup?

I have to do makeup for a vampire themed photo shoot, and the photographer said that he'd like me to use latex makeup. He specified that he wanted grey, not white or silver. The only thing I can find online will dry transparent on fair skin, which is not what I need. If I cant find a grey latex, I was wondering if anyone could recommend an alternative grey cake makeup or something I could use for character makeup instead?

If you are allergic to latex can you get a latex mattress?

My husband is allergic to latex and has asthma. We've been thinking about getting a latex mattress because we heard they are comfortable but also good for people allergic to dust mites since they are dust mite free. We have also heard they remove the protein from the latex mattress so latex allergy sufferers can tolerate them. However, I have not read anything to confirm this. Anyone have any references on latex mattresses for latex & must mite allergy sufferers?
----------

Not sure about your question but I do sell a mattress model that is made of natural latax so you could investigate that also.

Can you be allergic to a latex and powder free gloves?

At my work we have the McKesson brand for vinyl exam gloves, it's latex free, powder free,non-sterile and amibdextrous. Whenever I put it on even for couple mins after taking it off my hand would start getting red and spotty areas where it would be itchy. Can you be allergic to this kind of gloves even though it's powder and latex free already?
